Yep. well said. The disconnect between players who make up the game has been apparent for sometime.... Tynon Team Could mean he setup the forum or he simply creates Vhosts for new servers. Heck he could be the janitor for all we know. I know coders dont come on the forum because there sensitive and dont like people talking down on there great creation (that sounded like a good idea during content meeting) but after launch the feedback was the picture of that bear!
Welcome back dave.....
Matt I dont mind what he says or doesnt say
All I'm saying is that I'd like to have the "complete" feeling that they ARE taking our ideas into consideration .. And for me to feel that complete feeling Dave must comment
Whether the comments mean something or don't, just seeing a comment from him is telling me that he is watching and reading the threads completely
You say they read the forums and I have no reason to not believe they are watching the forums, but dave commenting means that he is also taking an interest in what we have to say
I can promise you there checking there paypal email. If they could check the forum more than that email we might actually get newer players. On facebook tynon is almost non existent. Pump Some ads on facebook. You know how many people play mafia wars, Mobsters etc... There are no real good PVP games like tynon on facebook and tynon/ucool should take advanangage of this while its there for the taking....
Edit: mafia wars 2 had 18m powers after 2 years of launch. Mobsters 2 little over 900k Players after 2 years. Unlike google analystics facebook has insights which is 10x better than google. it shows you when players like the game, leave the game, sign up for the game. ETC... As a facebook dev I can tell you tynon is missing out on a huge player base....
ok stop and think for a minute. Consider every change in this game since beta. 90% of those changes came directly form suggestions on the forums. the other 10% were original ideas form the dev team.
ALmost everything we have ever asked for that was reasonable and improved spending has been implemented. Maybe not in the exact ways we have suggested, but in some way that works. Saints, pirates, stars, promotions, even a change to GWF, were all suggested in forums then implemented. We dont need one lone company mouthpiece to comment on them. Just chillax. Keep making worthwhile suggestions, and wait and see what happens.
Then I dont see what the point of this thread is
I thought that we are welcoming Dave as a permanent member of the forum not just someone who sits in the background giving us no sense that some of our suggestions are REALLY being taken to the devs
Matt I dont think you understand, but what Dave has to say actually matter a lot
You misunderstand the whole point of the forums. They are here for us as players to :
whine
bitch
moan
complain
and help each other
But the company pays attention to our reactions to changes and looks at are suggestions. Regardless of a comment by a company employee this is being done daily. Dawn's comments made no change in anything. Yes he sometimes told us what WASNT going to happen, but thats it. ANd sometimes he let us know an issue was being dealt with.
These thinsg are nice, but unneccessary.
