Having spent 2B coins and 500 gems just 3 weeks ago for the Wind Runner, and getting a new 4B mount now, I'm sad to say but:
Unless Tynon gives us a way to regain all the lost coins and gems for upgrading, ITS NOT WORTH UPGRADING TO THIS NEW MOUNT ANYMORE
The loss of coins and gems FAR OUTWEIGHS the small gain in HP.

Rushed this **** out just so people buy the packages to get the new mount for cheaper.
Where is the title requirement for the mount, the new title that would be needed for the requirements and a bit of new stuff for us to work on?

These obscure random releases are a bit ridiculous now. Getting 4 bil coin is not the big deal, but now spending more gems to transfer to the new mount is not going to be cheap for many people as their experience has grown.
Also no release about the mount starting exp.
Personally I thought it looked more like a blue version of the nazgul mounts from LOTR...figure it's a rather generic design as far as mythical beasts go. and personally i'm ecstatic it's not tied to a title...going to get one soon:D
I see the problem, from the point of mid-power player. If you can not resale odler mounts, then the TOP people will block limites for Dragon, Wind Runner and this new at the same time. And I dont want to get stuck on the Rhino forever...
There isn't any new stuff coming. Just new ways to spend gems. Period. Giving up on new anything that matters.

If you read the msg properly they said for the WindRunner that, that will be the FIRST of ther additional mounts
In the previous msg today the said the Aurora Chimera would be the SECOND of their additional mount
Hence, the term ADDITIONAL MOUNTS means that there WILL be more to come
Go buy the Aurora Chimera, be my guest, BUT DONT COMPLAIN when in 3 weeks or 1 month or 5 months they release another one
If they dont release another something it will show the game is going nowhere, therfore there will be more complaining and questions being ased why are there no more nice game updates

As for the resell and trade-in for mounts I wouldn't have a problem with that, however, that is for Tynon devs to decide ... keep suggesting it, hopefully Dave and other uCool reps will forward it to the devs and have it implemented into the game.

Maybe it was an oversight? But I doubt it, they just are in a hurry to roll out something.... and don't have more real content to add at this time. They will take gems any day, they don't care about fair. 40k gems is not something many will just toss out, or can, for a mount. I suppose they don't plan on selling many.
From what I,ve seen of people buying mounts with gems, they get 1 or 2 stars. Rarely 3 or 4. Nevre above. I only saw people do it for lower mounts, but it shows a tendency. Not really a game changer considering the amount of gems spent.

The choice of changing to another mount isn't easy. You need to pay coins, but also lose experience. If you plan on getting another mount in the future after that mount you just bought and transfered to, this means the coins you spent on buying a mount will be lost forever (bad investment). Moreover, you get less experience in the end because you do multiple transfers (bad investment).

This is exactly what happened to Herby. He bought the Windrunner and found out he had made a really bad investment with what seemed to be a good investment.
Yes, there will be other mounts in the future, and we'll have to decide when we want to make bad investments. I'm not a big fan of this system. We invest in heroes, build them up, and they all remain useful for the most part. But mounts, you just get rid of them once you get to the next one. At least if you could sell them.
Here's a suggestion that might fix some of the issues. In addition to HP, mounts could give other stats. Some attack / defense and maybe even crit/block/dodge/hit rate/resil in very small amounts (1 or 2 per star). Make them different for each mount so it would be worth collecting them all for endgame.
Based on the fact that each of the mounts has a limited number available for purchase, I doubt they expect us to buy them all anyways (or at least I hope that is not their intention, would either be real stupid or genius if it was).
There are only 3 mounts per higher mount. It is very possible that 3 players on a server end up buying them all.Quote:
