It's one level. 250m is the step down from 1.25b. It sucks but since most of us can take a 250m down in our sleep, defeat it and then it's business as usual tomorrow.

Seriously?????
We all lost out yesterday. For the most part equally. Granted some may have lost a little more then others due to time zones. But what good is a comp pack in this case? Just to speed up EVERYONES progression in a game that seems to be going no where fast atm. Stop worrying about the trifle amount NOONE was able to get yesterday. Let them focus in on new content that we all desperately want. If we all got comp packs we all progress forward the same amount from it. So it doesnt actually help you in the least bit. Noone is suddenly going to beat the next HR boss faster then you because of the outage. Noone is suddenly going to be able to take your arena rank because of the outage, noone is suddenly going to do better in banish then you due to the outage. It effected everyone just about the same. SO take a breath and move on now.
It was the upstream partner that failed, without it there was no way uCool could get their games online. According to uCool the company that provides upstream had a hardware failure and it was out of their hands until their upstream provider techies could fix the problem their end.
uCool did provide regular reports on their FB pages. Since the forums were down they weren't able to communicate using them.
i'm still locked out! apparantly i maybe out for days! anyone else having this issue please message me
While everything was down, Nine (9) hours transpired between uCool's announcements (not even a comment) on the Tynon facebook page. I'm not exactly sure if I would call that "regular reports". This sort of thing makes it appear to the player-base (customers) that the Tynon employees (getting paid) got plenty of sleep while the customers were (some patiently some impatiently) staying up all night waiting ... and waiting ... and waiting.
Also remember, 12 hours of Thorsday were affected. (Players either lost out on upgrades or had to spend gems to make up for lost time.)
World Bosses were affected.
Guild Wars were affected (especially on bids).
Stamina was likely affected
the list goes on.
Tynon's response to such things will make them a hero or a villian.
People also remember the sub-par communication and treatment we receive from Davemata. Hence why everyone misses Dawnseeker.
I blame the monkeys throwing wrenches, ants in the computer things, or a solar flare plopping out of the sun. Mmmhmm. In all honesty I think we can make this outage at least a little bit of Ucools fault right? . Heck when I had my car parked in my driveway and a drunk driver some how found his way up my driveway and into the back end of my car. The insurance company still stated that 20% of the crash was my fault because I chose to live at that location and park my car in the driveway. If I didn't decide to park it there or live there then it would never have been hit. Sooooo using this logic, this outage is some of Ucools fault right? Because they chose to use that third party provider. :P
I blame Radio Shack
Wow, dang its a game. Yes it was sucky, but hey.
So u went back a boss, beat it and go back up.
Servers were down what 10 hrs, so no one missed a full day of Thorsday.
If u cant cope with 10hrs of missed game play, then maybe you shouldn't play as it seems your RL might be a tad boring.
And for all you haters to have something to moan about, I don't believe tynon should compensate,
its free to play it was your own choice to put money into it, suck it up and get over it.
FYI part of my post was sarcasasomthingorother
"Noone is suddenly going to be able to take your arena rank because of the outage"
I lost some arena rank because I couldn't get back in to take it back in the two hours before Cerberus.
For those insisting on a compensation package.... Ucool was not responsible for the outage. An upstream partner was. From that vantage point it would be like Ucool making you pay 100 gems for not playing when you have a power outage that your power company has to repair or an ISP failure that takes a while to fix. If your modem goes out should you have to pay everyone who emailed you and got no response? Grow up. Stuff happens that is out of our control. It happens to us, to companies and it happened to Ucool. They lost a lot of revenue because we couldn't get on to buy gems. Evony players couldn't get on to buy whatever they spend real money on. These lost revenues pay for the servers and programmers so Ucool isn't happy about the issue either.
As for not getting regular updates I doubt Ucool was getting them either. They probably got an its broke, we are trying to find the problem and fix it now, gonna work as fast as we can so hang on. Poking them and asking "Are we there yet?" over and over is not going to get it fixed any faster. If you don't have any answers coming in you can't give them out.
I didn't sit on facebook and wait for an update. I did housework, handled business on the internet, googled a great mug cake recipe, showered, went out to get the mail, balanced the checkbook and made a nice tuna casserole that I can pop a bowl of leftovers into the microwave and eat for 3 days lol.
i still cant log in this sucks!
been almost 36 hours yet i still cant log onto server 99
Empty your browser cache and check out your flash setting here. http://www.macromedia.com/support/do...manager07.html
Some simple maintenance normally does the trick.
Hehe, this thread has me giggling all day.
i like the gem-pooping unicorn idea... can we make it a rainbow pony tho please? ;)
Okay - I know that some things are just beyond our control.
And I know that what everyone lost really can't be tracked and properly valued...
BUT
I was up at midnight - West coast server so didn't miss out on Baal. Also had plenty of stamina that needed refilling so didn't loose out there either.
Besides that - kind of a bummer.
I stay up late and try to take care of time consuming things (like Lab) in the night hours of the morning... When I first checked Facebook there was nothing-
It went down soon after reset, and I figured it was due to a patch or something...
So after awhile of checking I just chucked it up and decided to spend all my "my time" on ESO (which was running very Purdy like - justasayin')
So yeah ... **** happens - but that doesn't mean you can't make up for it.
I like getting goodies!!!
I love getting FREE goodies!!!
- It wouldn't cost them anything to give us a lil somethin' somethin' -
BUT BOY - would it make us happy!
Happy customers is good.
Angry customers is bad.
Later Dayz!!!
*smiles*

:P
Tynon effed up and had wrong Banish sizes today.. so guess they made another huge screwup lol.
If you missed that banish the previous day due to whatever technical difficulties on tynon's end, then it will shrink. The game has some line of code that checks to see if it was beaten the previous day and if so, how fast (or at least that is how I would do it). They have not messed with it for previous server outages and it is probably a good thing that they don't since there is a chance that they could screw something up if they did.
In a business, in any business, the vendor serves and caters to their clients. This is how the vendor gains and maintains their client-base.
If a vendor were to say to their client "oh hey it's not our fault so we don't owe you anything" -- yes they can say that, if they want.
What happens when a vendor says that to their clients? How would the clients feel?
Over time the vendor loses credibility, and when the clients cease to trust the vendor, the clients begin looking for alternatives.
I'm not going to stop Tynon from making poor business decisions. If they want to drive their cash-cow into the ground, that's their choice. They have a good thing going for them; I'm hoping for their sake that they make the right decision. :)
Maybe we shouldn't push em for something. They might give us another [ 3 Day Sale for Packs ~ we're so sorry you lost out buying gems for Thorsday!! ] LOL
My Game chracters are all reset to new play in all the servers I play, All the building up done is wiped out, Bizzare

Greetings, it is impossible for me to log on server 72, does Tynon have more problems today?
I don't Usually post on these forums, But- here goes:
As with any bussiness, and I mean ANY- they key factor here is How you present yourself to your customers, and how you treat them.
So far, I've seen little to none at all compensention from Ucool. Let's show some examples of other bussiness that Are Highly Creditable- Like Ebay, and Amazon, for Instance.
If for those Company's ANYTHING were to happen on their end, what do you think they would do?
So Far, The only thing I've seen is : Ucool- " It wasn't Our fault...."-
But Nowhere did they mention anything about any sort of compensensation at all.
I'm only here, cause I'm waiting for Dungeon Fighter Online to Be released, and then, I'm outta here, But Until then, I have to put up with all of this.
C-mon- you guys finally announced that you have a "Fourth-Of July" sale, for us to Buy with real Money?
It's a complete and utter slap in the face, congrats- I have finally LOST all respect for this game.
