Players being driven out by Uber Guild, with Alt Guilds.My 2 cent Rant

Well I have been on here several times in regards to Alt Guilds being created by an Uber Guild to protect their cities in GW.

I have sent letters to Support, (so mods, you don't need to say "Send in a ticket" been and done) with screen shots of Alt guilds bidding ridiculous amounts i.e a guild with 5 members bidding 10100 guild funds to fight a guild with 60 members and 2 of them with over 700 million power each. This is called cheating, but...

What has been the reply??
We have pineapple, do you have Lube?

It has gotten to the stage where this guild is now attacking everyone sailing and everywhere else they can, why, because they can...and when I retaliate they get upset and say "with your power you should attack people with power nearer your own" but it's AOK for the 700million power people to attack people with 10 million in power, go figure??

And the result of all of this??
People are leaving this server in droves.
We have already had 1 merge, and I can understand why the other servers failed, inaction by tynon.
So what will the forum moderators reply be? Keep sending in tickets.... What a joke!!!

All I can see happening is that these people will drive out all other players and potential coiners, so less profit for Tynon.
But will anything be done?? NO, how do I know this for certain??

Because 1 of these players has a partner that works for Tynon, do they give a Rats Fat R's about us, the other players.
Not while they are keeping it in the family

IF the 60 member guild does things right.

who wins that battle is irrelevant since they are the same players

the point was that it is an alt alliance overbidding to reserve that city for their mains and ensuring their mains get top rewards

I think Herby's mistake here was to skim the OP without actually getting what it meant rather than deflect the issue. However, speaking as a player it is an issue one that Tynon needs to sort out.

@OP One rule I know uCool has that if an employee (and their relatives) plays any of their games they are strictly forbidden from revealing their identity. They are also subject to adhering to the ToS and they can lose their job over it as well as their account. I think it's an overblown rumour or someone's pulling your leg.

i think most servers has this problem or versions of it...on our server we have that the 2nd strongest guild all created 2-3-4 alts each and just have them as defenders killing off dura...with their tops killing our mediums then our tops has to run thru 40 alts its impossible to go thru all before dura is out

Now if you were in this guild would you REALLY be bidding that amount to lose??

This was done specifically to prevent our guild from bidding, no other reason.

They won't be able to keep bidding that amount though. It's a bad bid anyway.

LOL When they control all or most of the cities, have dozens of alts, 2 or more alt guilds and control the arena, they can pretty much do what ever they want. It is only a bad bid if it does not accomplish what they wanted. Same as A coiner spending $50,000 might be bad for you but only petty cash for him or her.
That red carpet you all were so excited about does not seem to be getting any use.

i think the point being made was that particular guild cannot bid that amount again for a very, very, very long time if it ever indeed did in the 1st place.

10k+ contribution from 6 members daily? Liar liar pants on fire!

With over 100,000 guild funds they can keep doing it for quite a while. Their other 3 alt guilds still have plenty of funds to allow them to keep bidding like that.

They don't control all of the cities only the coin ones, a) because I gain too much buff and can beat them, but only if we can get a bid in hahahaha b) they don't have enough alt guilds to protect them.
And like you say, they do it because they KNOW Tynon will not do anything to stop it, and because they can!

More than 3 accounts per IP should be banned. That would be fair because its unlikely more than 3 from the same family play. And, if its a school or college then there should be an appeal process which would allow more than 3 players on that IP provided there was proof its a school.

And its fighting a 60-player guild?

If that's not the case, what's the OP complaining about?

since i wasnt gonna reply here but couldnt help myself and already answered once to this drama-queens post, i'd like to point something here out. i thought it was extremely funny because i am getting accused by like half of our server of being a developer (different server than the OP) or "something" for tynon and am also accused of running an entire guild of bots by my own with my "alts" that are real players being helped by me, asking questions how they can beat a particular formation and getting real advice and also helping each other. i love this guild and everyone in it but the main problem is that there is too many loosers who blame others first for their own incompetence while trying to find excuses and thinking they are the best and dont have the crown they deserve.

Whether the OP is having a rant at being a sore loser or not isn't really the issue here, it's the ever increasing amount of alts. Trolley and I both have seen how alts completely decimated uCool's flagship game Evony and although it's been addressed it hasn't really changed much all a bit too late IMHO. Seems like Tynon's going down the same road, which is a pity.

It really doesn't matter whether it's bid-blocking, farming or dura-eaters it still amounts to the same thing and if Tynon bring in an IP ban to limit the amount of alts anyone can have we might be able to re gain something of how the game should be played.

Little off topic, but still on the topic of alts: They should get rid of farming altogether since that seems to be the main one.

Pvp could be replaced with a different event. A inter-server CW with smaller prizes and larger crown handicap comes to mind. Faster rounds with no betting or knock-outs. Have the entire thing run like the prelims.

You can see here that there is an obvious alt problem in our server. There are at least 6 guilds with a total ofAttachment 926 Attachment 927 200 + alts that all belong to one person on our server. Why Tynon can't do anything about it is beyond me. Attachment 928 all alts are numbered.. you mean to tell me there is no way that Tynon can't just shut these computer generated guilds down?

Of course they can. The stance Tynon appears to be taking is that they are making money so they do not have to please the players. A good example is their TOS, they expect us to follow their rules but they don't enforce them. Tickets reporting exploits, cheats and alts are all seemingly ignored by Tynon.

no it shouldnt. however to make a point here that i suggested in the past because i have 2 kids playing the same game as i play and we all share the same internet connection; i think that if you "farm" accounts from your same IP address it should at least raise a red flag.

i hope thats not our "chickenwing" from the forum O.o i kinda like the guy... on the other hand, whoever got the balls to name his alts with numbers is probably running a bot program or at least a keylogger to exploit the game.

Exactly what needs to happen. IP ban on same server is what needs to happen; it won't stop alts but will hinder dramatically.

What I am complaining about is...ALT GUILDS! Or did you not actually read the heading before replying to the thread?
Do we really need to outbid an alt guild, being controlled by the uber guild to get any sort of rewards from GW??
Why can't we bid like everyone else to actually play?

I too am assisting other players from different guilds in formations, i,e in Banish and HR, also in doing quests. But do not an run Alt guild.

Mmmm, check the pics, I can't make them larger and I also cannot create them from nothing, they are actual screenshots sent in by ticket to Tynon support.

im in the same boat as you are. a guild on the server im on has 4-5 alt guilds. 3 of them owned by the same person. its pissing all of us off. the server is nearly dead already without their crap. we've teamed up with another realm to help push them off. we could easily kick their ass, but we hardly get a fight with them due to alt guilds.

im the 4th strongest in the server. the top 3 is in our allied guild (one is currently in ours to help out) we have a number of active people, just not strong enough. our allied guild really only has those 3, maybe a couple more for actives. and we fight a guild that has more active people than our allied guild, and maybe alittle more than we do. they have 4 players that can beat me after 10 tries, so they are strong, but not stronger. plus alot of mid strongs and they need many alt guilds to protect them.

though it is really the only reason why i even play this game, to piss off the enemy guild and kill em. if they died off, i'd probably end up quitting. but damn alt guilds is annoying

My solution to that is....never claim a sail until the alts start to sail, sink them then sail, forces out the ubers, because they HATE their alts being sunk, then starts to clears spots on the beach for ALL, not just the a'holes that think they own the game :)
