Insultingly referring to any nationality or region

Yet on July 4th they will have a gem special to celebrate an American holiday. Whereas they have NOTHING for,

Australia Day, Australia's national day celebrated on 26 January

Canada day July 1st

October 1 National Day Hong Kong,

Europe Day may 9th European union

The list goes on and on but you get the point.

This shows the Management at Ucool and Regan Mercantile care NOTHING for players of the games, many of who spend their hard earned money, from countries outside the United States of America. Whilst at the same time hypocritically suggest they are against discrimination based on "any nationality or region".

Their actions state it is perfectly fine to discriminate against people from any country other than the USA as long as you are not directly insulting them with Slurs.

I call to protest all non-American players to voice their dissatisfaction with these policies set forth by American supremacists, until such time ALL players around the world are treated with EQUAL RESPECT by those who claim to be against discrimination based on Nationality or region.:mad:

I'm not American but I don't find anything wrong with uCool's policies.

i don't see how it is discriminating to not celebrate particular holidays. especially why you picked july 4th and not the christmas or easter celebrations. from that i take you are a white male, preferably christian and have some sort of school education that, as low and basic it is, not lets you fail in flaming and trolling the entire tynon community (gamers included).

Considering that Ucool and Regan Mercantile's main headquarters and the servers which you play on are based in the US one could (on a not to far stretched imagination of idealism) say your asking to discriminate against them for celebrating a National Holiday in their own home based country.

Seriously though if your even going there, I find the complaint far to picky against a game that is Free to Play. All of Regan Mercantile's games are Free to Play, you on your own decision you can purchase with real money items to enhance your own gaming experience but nobody is forcing you one way or the other.

Its simply the way it is because otherwise there will be too many packages to distribute out to us which will result in Tynon's loss of income.
IMO it would have EVERYTHING to do with racism, nationalism, and discrimination if we people outside of the USA were not able to purchase these packages or make ANY in game purchases with real money

If case you are one of the few that don't know, I'm not American. Since uCool is American based they have based their offers on US holidays and to further drive the point home, by far the largest player base is state-side It's not rocket science to work out what the business plan is here. As also pointed out you can't have a package for every special day, it'll be pointless!

You could say uCool should consider non-American holidays as chances to be more multi-cultural, well IMHO it really doesn't make a whole lot of difference since the whole World over knows which date American Independence Day falls. A lot of the special Days you've listed aren't known by the populace at large and I can only imagine the confusion at Hong Kong Day packages. On the other hand say Halloween which falls at the end of the same month, everyone knows what it is.

lol This is kinda silly. They are based in the United States. The majority of their player base for this game is probably in the United States. Since they've done Christian holidays, do you think they should also do Muslim or Jewish holidays? Also it has not even been a full year since they started offering holiday related sales, they may have picked some out from other countries but we just haven't gotten to them yet. I know that another game of theirs, evony, has done some non-U.S. holidays before. So you never know. Now I must resist the urge to put on a tin foil hat since Morgan expects us to pay royalties now :rolleyes:

Just make the packages exist every day.

Having these so called holiday package is a joke when it comes every month or every 3 weeks.

They could do both...

And making the holiday packages normal would take the "specialness" out of them therefore it would no longer be a sale like they would have us believe. Having actual sales rather than packages that are always there should be giving them a bump in income when the packages do appear.

No I am not Christian, however as you may or may not know, many atheists and members of other religions celebrate Christmas and Easter, just not as representing the birth and resurrection of Christ. Albeit I did find your defense of of one type of discrimination by pointing out another type of blatant discrimination absurdly humourous. Ironically Halloween or All Hallows Eve is actually not an American Holiday even if it is celebrated in the USA, but a Pagan Celtic festival (festival of Samhain) by origin. You could have used it as an example of a non-American holiday that Ucool and Regan Mercantile offer packages on.

As far as the company being based in the USA, yes it is, as far as the majority of players being in the USA, My Tynon tribe is barely a US majority, and on Evony, also owned by Ucool and Regan Mercantile my Alliance is actually about 60-70% non-American. Are you seriously suggesting it is acceptable to insult and discriminate against people who are in a minority? (Albiet being an American company and the USA's history of discriminating against minorities I guess it should not come as a shock)

I was using examples and do understand it would be too much to cover every single religious and National holiday throughout the world,nor was I suggesting they attempt to do so. However ONLY celebrating American National and observed holidays and ignoring all the other users from around the world is what I have a problem with. Even simply a "Thank you to our international players package" type sign of respect twice a year would not be not much to ask, and would prove me wrong that they care nothing for players outside the USA. At this point in time I have witnessed not even one acknowledgement from Ucool and Regan Mercantile in Tynon or Evony that they have even the slightest respect for players outside the USA.

Honestly I think this may be a case of somebody buying the copper package the day before the sale hit (been there done that) and is bitter because there was no announcement in the forum that it was about to happen.

Not even close. I have spent quite a bit of money on this game at time of specials and no specials, I just happened to have had a national Holiday in my country that made me realize/notice Ucool and Regan Mercantile have never offered a branch of friendship so to speak, to non-American players.

well take it for what it is worth but you just sound bitter, after all what country and specific holiday would you like to see represented?

I play Evony too and they don't just do the American Holidays, they do many others too.

Tynon is only a year old, give them a chance to show the same here. They like to give promotions and will use any holiday as an excuse. And that is a good, positive thing.

I would like to see 'the 12 days of Christmas' with a different set of package offered every day.

how about a no-holiday-excuse package, just for fun and improvement, like the "lets go wild" or a "spring break" or "summerfun" packages... but that would kinda defeat the purpose of the permanent packages that are available, so instead of doing all the holiday excuses and whatever reasons to bring out a new package, update the permanent packages on a weekly basis. like add a mount, take out the mount and add maria, then take out maria and add a 200k reputation, etc... like put something exciting in it that would make me want to click on that shiny gift and say "oh nice! i cant wait to see whats next"

I can understand the OP's point and he/she is right. America being so large and having so many players- yep, the holidays favor them.
(I tried to debate this same topic with my mom once - 'cept in my argument Christianity=America while other religions = other countries
...not trying to evolve this just saying that I have shared similar train of thoughts with the OP) :)

Anyhoo - I'm American - I like that the holiday goodies relate to my fun times. ;)

And as I have said 2 times before ... Yeah, those "Special Offers" - didn't they pop up around the holiday season?
...And they NEVER went away ... so we can just consider those "special" offers that don't ever go away to encompass all holidays that the Tynon peeps may overlook.
