How should we provide information on what it takes to beat a Boss or Hero

When providing information on how to beat a Boss or Hero people usually give the formation and their power. The formation is very useful but the power is not since it does not provide information on what stats the individual heroes have and that is very important.

Bosses and Heroes get beat by the stats that that each individual member of your team has so providing a table that contains all of the stat for each hero. Doing this is time consuming but it gives you exactly what each hero had when you beat him. The best way is to create a spread sheet that has the stats across the top and the heroes going down. Fill out the information. Select the heading and the information and co a copy. Then paste it into a post in advanced mode. This will create a table inside the post. The use the Table properties Icon to set the table style to Full Grid. You may have to adjust the size of some of the columns by right clicking on the left line if the column and dragging it. This is an example of what I mean

This does not give you how you got to have those stats, but it gives you exactly what it took to beat him. How the stats were achieved depend on many things:

1. Equipment type and level (not too time consuming. It can be easily done from the Blacksmith)
2. Jewels embedded (somewhat time consuming. best done from the Blacksmith by displaying each piece of equipment in Embed mode. This is time consuming and there is a lot of data to provide. An alternative is to give the power of each piece of equipment provides. This has to be done by clicking on each piece of equipment on the hero screen. Also time consuming but not as much as the first option)
3. Runes (somewhat time consuming because there a lot of rune possibilities for each hero)
4. Abilities given by Saints (time consuming because the saints for each hero must be displayed and the different abilities and levels given recorded)
5. Stars (easy to do)
6. Where you are in the quest (easy to do, but not too important)
7. Your level and title (easy to do but not too important)
8. The mount and mount level (what to do but not to important).

I would like your opinion on what you would like to see on the posts besides the actual formation. This must also be what you would be will be willing to provide when you are posting. If you say the hero's stats please also say if it is all the stats or only a select set and what they are.

Sometimes it would be nice to have the order in which the heroes die (if at all) because that can impact the battle.

For the most part, the stats and runes should be enough information. If someone is having trouble achieving a certain stat, then they could ask specifically "how did you get so much skill attack on lance", and then it could be broken down into how many saints, stars, jewels, blacksmith, talents... Most people should already know what they need to work on though.

if it goes this detailed, where is the fun in playing a game... might as well load an "auto walkthru" prog instead...

+1 I like andys layout but too much time consuming. I think runes and talents should be enough...Also What Sets and how many..

Table has way too much irrelevant information, and as previously stated here too much detail takes the fun out of trying.
Yes its nice to have help, but to be given a complete detailed guide of how to do it takes away the skill aspect.

I agree. The purpose of this tread is to get a consensus of what should be provided. You did not said what you think that should be.

i have always been fine with the form itself. when watching the battle i figure out for myself where i need the better weapon, spirit and what set on what toon.... and so on. in my experience people only ask for power, rune setup, gear, etc because they are trying to beat a boss too early and are just not ready for it.

Dont get me wrong, i like the fact we can come here and ask for help
BUT lets not just give away all the info so freely, give out forms yes as quests have no replays
Try it for urselfs a few times, if ur taking too much damage, increase defenses, if ur not hitting hard enough increase offense
If ur missing something ask for pointers, what was this what was tht.
Trying a few times then getting all the answers from here kinda defeats the purpose of the game

I agree with Andy that additional info can be good.
It is dependent on the boss/hero though.
I like the table, though I am inclined to say less info is needed in most cases.
