LANCE XXX APHRO but which sub is better?? Shayd or Thucy seems to me that I have a lvl 12 Preciness on shayd and it wont hit hardly at all seems weird to me that shayd would do less stunning with better hit rating

I've played around with different formations with aphro and one sub...best (well, most consistent) so far is using 4 stunners. I'm experimenting with forms using lance, but so far I've found, although high rounds are higher, that at the end of banish the result varies very little.

Main/Sub/Sub -> Shayd -> Herja -> Aphro -> Lance

Shayd -> Aphro -> Main/Sub/Sub -> Herja -> Lance

getting 500m+ in 15min w Riot's last shared form w a slight tweak which works better for me w low 400m base power on that form :)

how would ur damage come from ur leader mostly when it dies in first or second round in most cases (talking about Riot's form right?). and again, what damage each hero deals highly depends on other factors as how they r built/dressed etc.

For new toon set ups before any substitution ability I have used a variation on this and wanted to ask if you see any difference. There are practical considerations that come into play if on a low gem budget and don't want to spend a lot of time developing extraneous gear (e.g. 4th swords/ or 3rd staffs).

I gravitate initially toward a 3 morale attacker and 2 magic caster/healers (e.g. 3 swords and 2 staffs) basic core setup for PvP and regular play. I don't want to spend a lot of time on the limited Black Smith Q (only 2-3 deep Q) to develop a 4th sword right away. Again - on a low gem budget. I don't do speed ups except to set up Black Smith to sequence the cool-downs to complete while I sleep. So, I will often substitute another MAGE damage dealer in place of where you have Cianna.

So my generic formation for world events becomes:

Calvin DDm Main
x DD Shayd

*Where DDm is best DamageDealer Mage (not Shayd - e.g. Hypatia or Mehvidan depending on how the natural sainting works out on magic attack bonuses)
** DD is always a moral based damage dealer and usually Lance De Luc or BloodStorm

I have not found Cianna to be reliable enough since the nerfs.
Any Thoughts about equivalence?

I think Mehvidan is poop, but I don't remember much of my early days. If a mage has the most damage for you, then great, but I would think that there would be at least one character (themistocles?) with more damage even with a lv 0 sword. Another stunner is always best for early toons, so I would keep cianna. I have no numbers to back me up, so if you like your damage with that or disagree with me then woopdydoo.

I've been getting something similar with a similar power. (a bit better, but probably only because I dumped a lot of gems and cards into my lance and nothing else xD)

I've been hitting the 30 round limit every now and then and thought changing shayd for another hitter might be better. Didn't bother testing how often though since I don't need coins anymore.

Hitting the 30 round limit is probably why Riot's banish form might look different from others.

I would love to hear Herby's forms as well, but value his criticizing too. It's a lot better to spread no information than wrong information. Or maybe he just regrets getting Riot to stop using Khan for banish...

Think Herby is wrong on this one. The damage of the physical damage stunner should matter more than the leader.

Riot plays with different pieces than us. It might be still helpful, but you're right that we need to find out for ourselves.

What is the best form if you have aphro, but do not have 2nd sub? Someone I talk to was asking about it.

This is probably right but it might be worth testing a switch between cianna/thucy and shayd. Shayd stuns better, but the physical heroes hit harder. This will depends on your gear and how many sets are built up.

Why use the cross formation? It should be better to have aphro hit first instead of shayd.

Without doubt, the best banish formation for today, is the one i used yesterday, and not the one i am using now. more seriously, the formations mentioned above are petty good, but only once you have decent attack runes. For new players, there are a number of formations that work better than these before you get established. experiment with what you have, watch your results, when they start getting worse, look for something else.

What about when you get into WRATH MODE after knocking Baal/Cerb down to final sequence?

Do you all swap out your formations to stay longer in rounds to improve chances of last hit for coin rewards?
I have heard different things on if it matters or not.

I know a lot of people move in Calvin to make a sacrificial first hit at 100% morale.

Doesn't matter. Number of fights matters, not damage and not hits.

check Riot's very first post on first page. i use very similar, hitting 30 rounds most of the time n 2nd sub dont always come into play
