Resetting the crowns is a good idea, to keep the big players in the game.
Besides, they've already reached the ceiling, and others are still trying to catch up to them.

this would be true if they didnt add the crowns half way thru to make it more interesting and not having the same players win over and over again. now with them reset there is not really a point in having them to begin withQuote:

This is one of the most stupid and ridiculous things they have done. I really feel like giving up now. One of the only chances people like me had of ever winning CW or getting close was the crowns. Now that very slender chance has gone.
Seeing as there is no new content, no quest, nothing to do any more the whole game is becoming pointless. I really do despair.

To be fair, at the end of the day CW is to find out who is most powerful, not for the less powerful to win stuff to catch up.
Granted i will never win, but to handicap the best so 4th or 5th best can win is not the point of it.

The "entertainment" part of CW is pretty much for the few that think it's the best as is. To me it is set up pretty much without being thought out, it is already outdated.
Would you bring your Neighborhood Little League team into a stadium to play 1 on 1 with a real National Baseball League team and expect anything different then the NBL team to win?
If your into car racing would you take your stock street car to the track and put it up 1 on 1 against an NHRA Nitro Funny Car and expect to even come close?
It really does need to be redesigned with some real thought put into it. Not the boring join knowing you don't have a chance (unless of course your one of the existing top 5 players system wide) contest. That is why I said earlier break it up into brackets somehow so it will at least catch some people's interest.
cwf was designed to find teh best of the best.

but with all the imbalance between the servers and how long those imbalances have existed its pointless - always has been always will be. Said it was a bad idea from the day it was announced. I stick by that.
for now i log on for it when i remember
bet when i can be bothered and buy stuff with the tickets to try and catch boo. I got nothing else to do in the game. Even when they release new content., I doubt it will take me more then a few days to weeks to complete it. They never do a good job at setting up new content to be actually challenging. Its just give the minions and bosses more hp and more hp and more hp. SO the only strategy you really need is more offense more offense and maybe more offense. Blayd will blow through any new content they put out in hours. I mean I already have enough stamina accumulated combined with mats from arena to create 7 complete sirius sets when the mats and plans are available.
We need something team oriented in my opinion
inter server gwf of some sort
teams of 5 or 10 fight each other across servers- new quests and hr bosses are pointless. 3rd sub might make things slightly interesting
new heroes might be ok but with the crap ones they have released lately - I doubt they have a clue what to do there.

And all of this helps the small players How? If Tynon doesn't adopt a system by which smaller players can ACTUALLY WIN then what difference does it make. CW will still only be a gift give away to the rich ppl whom Tynon obviously caters to.

The winner of CW will go to best player. Having the most power doesn't mean anything if you don't how to format your plays to combat your opponent..
And am I seeing things.. is it a glitch that says CW starts at 11 a.m. Pacific Time? Or did they change the time?
If the winners could at least benefit from their prizes... How can they use the purple medals? The spirit plans? It's nonsense. All they can use is the chips they get to improve their current chips every 5 tournaments.

This crown system resets after 10 months.

I also hate betting. I would much prefer to make the entire thing like the preliminaries... just rounds of everyone fighting and then add up the points. Then they could hand out multiple (smaller) rewards for random brackets and such.Quote:
