Noticed something about the forums. The longer we go without an update, the less and less you hear people requesting/asking about sales. Haven't seen any requests for a sale in a while now, and it's been almost 2 months since the last sale.

They do sales around holiday times. There hasn't been a major American holiday since july 4th. (The game's designers seem to be using America as the basis for its holiday sales)Quote:

The point of beta to begin with was a trial run for the rest of the servers. When they merged what beta was doing with what beta had been doing it took alot of doing and there are still some bugs that need to be fixed. I assume they are more worried right now on fixing the bugs and cheats that are still being used before updating beta with new things. To monitor and run this amount of servers while constantly adding new ones takes alot of work. As far as packages go i'm just glad they have them, and they always doing something for the holidays even small ones..so be patient

To consolidate all of the dead servers to a few, it would take some manual work for them to consolidate the DB's. I would say server 1 - 10 are probably slightly bit bigger vhosts with more memory and cores added to it vs. the rest of the servers.
