Hello,
I've been wondering if i transfered a 18 stars hero on a different hero does it transfer with 17 stars or its limited on 15 stars?
I asked my friend to check his KT since his KT has 18 stars. i told him try to transfer him on rhize lets say.. and told him to check how many stars he would lose...he said 15 stars is the max with transfer. so i just wanted to make sure about this or its also a display bug
You definitely lose stars in a transfer, so it must be correct. I never had 18 so don't know, but there is a chart floating around somewhere in forum.
You can get perfect transfer if you use gems.
Ok a friend have tested it if you have any hero with 18 stars you wouldn't lose any star if you transfere.
star transfers work like this
1-7 lose 1
8 -9 lose 2
10-17 lose 1
18 lose 0
several people have posted the 18 star info in the past. I have not done one yet so i personally can not verify. but all the info from 1-15 is straight from ucool in a message they sent me on a support ticket when the transfer option was first release. At that time we could only go to 15 stars.
Oh nice!!!! No loss at 18 - after you paid that much for all those, that's a nice thing to do. Give one up to Tynon!! (don't see that often) lol
I fail to see a good enough reason to wish to transfer a hero with 18 stars
Surely if u go to all the expense to get it to 18, u would make sure the sancs are good enough, and its a hero ur gunna keep using
Or am I missing something :/
Yep 2019 a new hero named Stanley will be hatched.
easy example: you have a hero thats 18 stars, lets take lance as example but got mostly bad sancts on it, like white and blues but it went straight up to 18 and you lost only a few medals. top players usually have lots of spirits. i for example have right now 49k but count myself more of a middle class player. point is if i had an 18 star lance i could transfer to any hero and back to clear out all sancts then redeem 49 cards and delete the sancts i dont like right away and only keep crits, skill, etc ....
he delays opponents attack by 5 rounds and his skill attack is ignorance? lol

Exactly my point, who would even try to star a hero to 18 if it had crappy sancs?
Dont u sanc a hero then when ur happy star it up?
And if ur only wanting select sancs ie crits/skill atts on lance, wouldnt u sanc 1by1 and not transfer?
remember they now charge a lot of gems for "clearing out" bad sancts and if you transfer to one hero and back while you loose sancts only, you can do that for coins until either the hero is clean and nothing is left or you get lucky and get a collection of new sancts that you may like better.
again, its just a guess and i dont have an 18 star hero yet, but thats what i would do
So u would sanc a hero poorly and star it to 18 then fix the sancs?
My own preference is to transfer the sancs till i get a good transfer, then while dropping the few bad sancs and increasing to the limit while starring
I do it this way because it will be quite a while b4 I reach 18stars, assumed it was the same for most players
Maybe im doing it ass about face but it seems most efficient to me
well no, i wouldnt sanc a hero bad on purpose (not that i have any influence on what i get), but on the other hand i am not in the position yet to make a domi5 in under an hour either. so when i currently random transfer sancts onto a new hero and hope for the best it ends up being an A1 to AA3 or so and then i would add other cards over time. i dont have influence on the turnout, but if the stats are acceptable, i take it.
those 18 star heroes and changing sancts on those are endgame and for players that have nothing other to do than improving further.
so instead of paying 1-2k gems in removal fees on 5-10 sancts on an 18 stared domi5 they might as well take their chances and spend 200m coins on transfer fees to get new random stats.
i dont know about you but when i get to the point where for example blayd says he is and have all heroes maxed out and 18 stars, i might as well transfer a hero i am not happy with to take my chances and do this instead.
so when someone got a 17 star hero he/she might as well add an 18th star before the transfer to not loose any. i get the thoughts from DNX and see how its nice to know that you dont loose stars on transfer after a certain point. plus the game will hopefully improve in the future and maybe someone feels the need to transfer from an old 18 star hero he most likely wont use anymore onto a new hero that just entered the game.
I get tht not loosing a star at 18 is sweet, but when ur at the stage where u can star a hero to 18, wouldnt it be better to transfer, remove the bad sancs then star it?
Transferring a dom5 leaves u at AA5, 100 gems to remove a sanc, then 90 then 80, if uve got more than 3 bad sancs it would be better, imo, to retransfer then
270gems to remove 3 bad ones aint tht bad
If ur at the point where ur removing all sancs that arent gold on a hero fully starred and sancd, im guessing it would make little difference if u got knocked back 2 16stars as thats a piss in the ocean then :)
Some heroes go up to 18 stars a LOT quicker than others, some of which have really cheap cards too, like Dawn or Smoulder for example. So you get them to 18 give them a few saints then transfer to a good hero saving you a lot of purple medals and spirits.
aside from scorn adding a very valid point to this, you are overseeing something: 270 gems IF you get 3 good sancts in your example to replace them otherwise you keep on removing over and over. so unless you have an unlimited supply of gems, it might be better to get lucky on random transfers since they take only coins?
i dont know, but point is there is some very valid and understandable reasons to transfer 18 stars from one hero to another.
