Aurora Chimera

Just trying to figure out if buying the Chimera for 4 billion coins will help me in defeating Ezekiel. Currently I have 270 mil in power but I am not sure if I should upgrade my few remaining level 11 runes to 12 (all defensive runes) or purchase the new mount. How does these mounts work? Does the increased power get divided across the 6 hero's by adding attack and defense. Currently I have the Rhino mount and I am not sure if the Chimera is really worth purchasing. I would like to defeat Ezekiel as I am around 40% but will the new mount help in increasing the damage. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

Mount's hp bonus is added to each hero individually. Extra hp could definitely help as it increases the chances that Khan survives (might buy you an extra turn or two for him to dodge/block/crit). The stats on your top 2 sets will matter more though.

Mount are limited, so it might be a good idea to get chimera before they run out. Also, if you plan on getting chimera eventually, you should get it as early as possible.

Thanks, I just purchased the chimera but it will only accept 4 stars from the Rhino's 6. If I get a few stars first will the 4 stars from the Rhino be added to the stars I already have. Thanks for any help you may offer. The cost of the 1st and 2nd stars are pretty cheap so I think it would be better to get maybe 3 and then transfer the 4 from the Rhino.

It transfers a percentage of the total exp on the mount not the stars, so will be the same whenever u transfer

it transfers exp, not "4stars" so if you get 3 stars on the chimera first, it might only give you 2 extra stars for example..
it transfers over 70% of the rhino's total exp.

But if the rhino can already transfer 4 stars to the chimera and the chimera already has 3, won't that give the chimera a total of 7? From what I have read, the experience of the mount transfers 70%. I am not great in math but lest say the Rhino has 6 stars and has a total experience of 50,000 then 70% of that = 35,000 experience. Am I to assume that 35,000 experience = 4 stars? Does it go by the level? Level 1 (1 star) = 4,000 experience, Level 2 (2 stars) = 8,000, Level 3 (3 stars) = 12,000 experience, etc. Not quite sure how the stars and the level of experience and the % of transfer works. I have 6 stars on my Rhino with 61,000 experience and won't get my next star until I reach 96,000 experience. How much experience would I need to transfer 5 of my stars to a new mount at 70%? Sorry if this sounds confusing but I am sure some new gamers would be quite interested on how the transfers work and would help me in deciding if moving my stars to a higher mount is actually worth it.

no, if there is XP on the mount you are transferring it to, that XP will disappear and replaced with the 70% of the source mount. much like you for example would transfer stars and saints onto another hero (note: i am not saying its the same loss - its calculated different).
also when you transfer the XP it will indicate what you have on the old mount, what you will get on the new mount and how many stars it would translate into before you make the transfer.

First and foremost I don't have a collective obsessional behavior (maybe a bit of ADD) and I have heard that Dawndeeker is not a moderator here. This topic is for educational purposes and not a venting thread. I am glad I was set straight that now I know not to feed my chimera as this will be a waste of coins. I will just wait until I have the 400 mil to do the 50k experience transfer which is 4 stars from the 6 that is on the Rhino. its my signature, i think the herby is true for most of the forum and both quotes are hilarious. there is a 3rd i would love to put into it but it doesnt let me have enough space.

as for the mount, the best is always to transfer onto the highest possible mount you can afford in a reasonable time. that aside you have plenty of time to build up your chimera because going from 5 to 6 stars on it will take you about 5 months on 8 feeds per day (unless you start feeding/taming with gems)

Mount transfers add 70%/100% of the XP of the source mount to the target mount.

Remember, its the XP that gets transferred, not the stars.

The target mount's XP doesn't get erased. it gets added to the source's xp to be transferred.

no it would work out to the same thing... remember it transfers the XP not the star count. (otherwise everyone would make 10 star white horses first)

True, but at least the xp does not get erased, just added.

Just out of interest, but can I get the chimera if I have not yet unlocked the wind runner?
