World Chat Speaker- What is your opinion?
What do you think of needing a speaker to speak in world chat?
I think it is a flawed system and should be fixed to where the game auto regenerates once you have acquired a speaker in the game.
Value set to 0 so it doesn't take away once you have gotten it.
Or option 2 - The game generates free chat like it does for the realm chat.
What's your opinion?

Require the speaker. Too much inane horsehockey in WC getting jammed into realm and banner already

Maybe no speaker, but they NEED to get rid of the annoying big text message that comes across your screen whenever someone says something in world chat.

I dont mind the text across the screen but needs to be taken out of world chat cause world chat is spammed with what crosses the screen. half the time you cant even read what there is being said from other players cause 20 diff things from spamming crosses the screen and u cant read anything

I don't think they will remove it. BUT maybe they could adjust the location. The banner as is blocks the top of a players profile. They did correct so we can close windows now but would be nice to actually be able to read the power which is why we open a profile most times anyway. If a menu was created like they have for daily events and guilds they could clear up a lot of space at top of screen and the banner could go there. Still visible but not blocking the players view of pop ups they wanted. Just a suggestion from a lowly VIP1 but you never know they might listen. right?

They need speakers for world chat, its bad enough with people being stupid or silly with it. Mostly we need a way to "hide" world chat when we want to. You can close your realm chat by selecting guild chat. This becomes important mostly during Guild Wars. You need an open chat for orders and directions to members, not to be reading some persons inane babble or smacktalk. There are already too many banners. Its just overkill and loses its importance to read them all, like who cares if JohnDoe craft a sword!!! Or someone makes a guild investment -honestly, a lot of it is unnecessary.
