Beginner Reward, can you wait to claim after 7 days?

Just as the title says, can you wait to claim the rewards after the seventh day? Say on the 8th perhaps? Or even 9th?

As long as it is set to claim, can you stall it?

Trying to ration out my gems by doing this, but want to know if I can to be sure.

Each day has a timer. One to unlock and another to complete it. Once each day a quest is unlocked, then there are 24hours to finish the task.

If you don't succeed, the quest expires and you're unable to claim the prize.

If you complete a Day 1-6 task in time, you can still claim the reward during Day 7. (At least, that's how it used to work.)
Zeis wants to know if the same goes for the Day 7 reward: complete/succeed in time, but wait with claiming until after the day is over.

I'm sorry if I didn't clarify very well on my question.

    This is incorrect.

For example. Day 1 unlocks a timer begins and you have 24 hours to complete the requirements. 24hr timer runs out, Day 2 unlocks. The requirements are unmet for Day 1 so the player can't claim the award for Day 1 but if you complete the subsequent Day 2 you can claim the award for Day 2. In laymens terms if the quest isn't completed, from say Day 6 unlocking, to the new quest unlocks at Day 7, that days awards are locked for good. When Day 7 finishes you cannot claim anymore Beginners Awards.

So, I would still have one more day to claim my quest reward since it is finished? So I can wait until my 8th day? Or does it all go away on the 8th day, even if I have the option to claim already?

I'm not positive I understand completely.

@Zeis: No, Morgan says after day 7 the Beginner's Rewards window can't be reached anymore, so you can't claim th reward after day 7.

I guess we should make this a suggestion then.

It would be great to be able to claim the rewards of (in time) completed Beginner's Rewards objectives anytime.
For example, if you happen to have met the Day 7 requirement before Day 7 unlocks, but can't be online during Day 7 itself.
Or, you complete the task in time, but (still during Day 7) you have network troubles and you can't log in to claim them.

Timer begins at 12.00 hours on Sunday. You have until 12.00 On Monday to claim Day 7.

Does that help explain it a bit better, this is a tricky on to put down in a post.

That would be a great suggestion. Though it's not my reason for asking, it is a wonderful suggestion.

Morgan- I understand better now. I think. Haha.
