Ringtones require audio files. I myself entertained myself for hours playing with off-line Windows 95 computers creating audio files.
The Tandy Computer had some excellent audio software that composed actual bars of music for free.
.wav files make excellent ringtones, 2/4 time or 3/4 time or even 4/4 time.
With billions of cell phone and smart phone users out there, there are readily ways of quickly converting a loss into millions of euros of economic fluidity simply by way of using public domain music in a responsible way such that the thing sells for Euros.
Dollars, might as well be earning Martian Daleks as dollars. Canadian laws about insanity are a bit messy to clean up and the American dollar is worth less than the Roman Catholic Church voucher credit is these days.
