Bug - Successful Stars Upgrade does not Stick, reverts down.

Hello Tynon,

I am having trouble with a Stars Upgrade bug in the Tynon game. The successful upgrade does not Stick, only for a short time.

I upgraded my Valla today from 4 stars to 5 using 20 Gems to buy Blue Medals. Initially, the upgrade worked showing the stars going from 4 to 5.
- But, then the Power did not go up, and when I looked at the character again she was back at 4 stars.
- But my 20 Gems were taken.

I had this same experience with my Cairne, a few days ago:
- Goining from 3 Stars to 4, I Paid Gems for Blue Medals, he went to 4 Stars, it looked okay, but then back to 3 stars moments later.
- Did it again, paying once again, but this time he stuck okay with 4 Stars.
- Recently I updated him to 5 Stars, but this reverted also, my Gems/Blue Medals are Gone, but he dropped back to 4 Stars.

And also with my Main Character Cole540:
- Goining from 3 Stars to 4, Paid Gems for Blue Medals, He went briefly to 4 Stars but then dropped back to 3 Stars.
- Did it again a couple days after, this time he stuck okay with 4 Stars.
- Then when I updated him to 5 Stars, fortunately it also stuck.

These several failures of the Star Upgrade option have cost me many Gems and Blue Medals as the Upgrade does not stick.
- Due to this bug with Star Upgrades, I have lost:
- One Upgrade for Valla from 4 to 5 Stars, reverted to 4.
- One Upgrade for Cairne from 3 to 4 Stars, reverted to 3.
- One Upgrade for Cairne from 4 to 5 Stars, reverted to 4.
- One Upgrade for Cole540 from 3 to 4 Stars, reverted to 3.

I suspect at least one of my other characters also failed when I did other Star upgrades,
but these ones I have listed above I am certain about.
I believe I upgraded my Barendd to 5 Stars, but is now back to just 4 Stars.

I am running Firefox browser version 18.0.2 if this helps.

Thank you for your help with this frustrating bug.

It would be great if you could please upgrade these characters Stars appropriately.

And hopefully this bug can be fixed soon, as I would like to continue the upgrades with more confidence that they will Stick!

I have had that happen too but it also takes stars away when it fails nothing we can do but complain some times it helps most of time it don't

I'm not sure exactly what happened from reading your post, but it seems that you have had a few star grades fail. If you fail an upgrade you will lose one of the stars already applied.

For example you have 4 stars>apply blue medals to upgrade>upgrade fails>you drop to 3 stars.

I'm afraid that's how the star system works, I've lost stars several times too so I know it can be frustrating. I recall Dawnseeker saying however, once a hero gets to a certain level he/she won't lose stars on failure, but he wasn't sure what level it was.

Yes, these were Not upgrades which failed, they succeeded, but then after, dropped a Star.

this happend to me twice going from star 8 to star 9, and then once when using purple badges to get above 9. It would be SUCCESSFUL (yay happy) then i close my heroes panel and the upgrade would be gone. Very frustrating considering how much I spent getting those high stars.

Today my Valla was at 4 Stars, I upgraded her to 5 Stars. Played for a couple of hours with her at 5 Stars. Then towards the end of the day went to check the stats of my heros and she was back down to just 4 Stars.
So, clearly this Bug is not yet fixed and I have not received any compensation for this Bug and what it has Cost Me. I am still waiting, and growing more and more disappointed in the Buggy State of this game.
It is starting to look like Tynon just does not care about their paying customers.

I have been Waiting for Weeks, Still Nothing Back From Tynon. I have had 5 Stars just drop off during regular game play. I dont know if the Bug has been fixed, but they have not reimbursed me for anything, despite my significant losses.

It certainly appears that Tynon does not care about their Paying Customers. They already have my many hundreds of dollars, so why would they care ???

Very Disappointing Tynon. The game was supposed to be fun, not un-ending grief.

Update: Tynon did make good, providing me with Gems, coins and credits. So they did in fact look after reimbursement. Thanks Tynon.

Of course I still need to try my luck, again getting the 5 Stars back successfully, but at least they did respond and help out.
