    Asking the veterans.

    Hello everyone,

I'll be using the handle Leonhardt, so you can all use Leon for short.
While I've often had an interest in Online games, I was often unable to get into one.
With Tynon however, I've gotten used to it with the rest of the non-beta testers as I joined the fourteenth,
and I'm currently doing my best to establish myself in the community of the forest realm of the Thunder of Zeus server.
In addition, I'm also scouring these forums for all info I can use to keep my head up in said Live EU-time server.
This is because by not having gotten into any previous online games, I'm relying on instinct rather than rationale to play.
In my case this always mean I'm slow in changing my ways even when there are a lot of signs there are better ways to go about things.
I'll end this introduction here, as what I'm trying to do is work the rationale and ask about the better ways to go about things.
Understandably a lot of answers will be opinions, but I'm looking for the reasons behind them and not a fight determining who is right.
Hopefully other newbies will also find these answers helpful to determine how best to catch up with more seasoned players.

To start things off I have two specific questions and I'll give you a topic to discuss to see if it's a preference or actually the better way.

First question: In Guild Warfare, you can watch the battles much like on the revenge list, but there are two buttons extra, namely Result and Faster.
Does pressing Faster twice make it go even faster than pressing it once, or does it make it go back to regular speed or does it do nothing more?
Additionally, if pressing it twice does make it go even faster, what would pressing it a third time do?

Second question: About adding friends to the Friends menu: Is it the more the merrier, or does it clutter up, so would it be best to remain... choosy?
BTW, also: What are the two symbols for? The red one and the grey one in the Friends menu, what are they used for?

Now the topic: Keeping a balanced team or focusing power onto specific heroes... is one way better than the other, or is it simply player preference?

Thanks to everyone for reading, in advance for participating and I hope you'll be able to learn some things that'll help you as well.

    Leonhardt,
    Guildmember of Clarity.

Depending on where you position your heroes on the board it would be preferable to have your front line heroes stacked with defense, backline players such as mages, archers you could focus more on skill attack boosts and damage since the front line guys will get attacked first and take the majority of the damage.

For Example I keep Alexa on the frontline but she is stacked with morale, magic defense and physical defense so hit her as much as you can each round and the archer behind her is just going to keep nailing you with his morale boosts and skill damage boosts. Know what I mean?

The more the merrier you can always delete them, secrets!!! Actually I never poked around in that part of it so I don't know!

It pretty much ends the battle unless it was changed recently. Result goes immediately to the end of the battle (also if it hasn't been changed recently)

I personally believe that it is player preference, but some heroes are more effective for either offense or defense. Your main hero can usually go either way or somewhere in between.

Heroes at the front should be built to last awhile so that your heroes in the back get more attacks off. The heroes in the back of course will want to focus on attack.

Only guilds in your realm. Each realm has its own Guild Warfare.
