I'm over a million power and number 2 on the server however I am having an awful time collecting medals for stars. My main hero fails pretty much constantly, hasn't went past 3 stars and is currently sitting at 1 star. I have tried the lab, fair, questing, arena, I can't seem to find medals anywhere. What is the best way to acquire them?

The ways you stated are pretty much the only ones I know of, aside of the vip level rewards.

There is other annyoing problem - when you trying to upgrade hero stars from lvl 2 to 3, it says "You will lose 1 star if upgrade fails" - i have upgraded and failed - it have not only taken 2 stars instead of 1, but also reduced my upgrade lvls by one (another 2 stars lost)! Give me my stars back, your descreption lies! If i would know i will lose 4 of them, i would newer attempt to upgrade to lvl 3.

You need a lot of coins or a lot of stars to get high level starring done.
(500-1000 gems, 30-50 medals at least)

You also need a lot of patience. (stop when the fails are becoming numerous, try another day)

That is almost as silly as removing a lvl 4 embedded gem being 100 gems a pop. I'll wait until the drop rate is increased on them for the arena, until then I march on with my 1 star hero lol.
