I have leader card but can't sanctify

I have a leader card that I just got from completing heaven palace. It is in my inventory; however when I goto sanctify screen it says I have 0 cards. I notice that the leader card is the male version of my class, which must be a bug (if it's not then this is the biggest WTF so far I've seen). Why would the reward for completing heaven palace be a leader card that is not useable by your class, especially when they can't be traded or transferred to other characters.
