VIP5 Heaven Tavern Chances

I sure hope this is a bug...

But was wondering what is the formula used for the chances to acquired 1 of the 5 cards in the tavern?

With 5 cards you'd think the chances are 20% per card selected... As VIP 5 you'd figure that your chances would be at 60% as you can select up to 3 cards.

The problem is I have spent close to 1000 gems so far hoping to land Shayd and have yet to acquire her... I've always selected the same cards, but yet ALL the golds (some times there would be 2 golds among the 5) stayed away from the cards I have selected.

Please let me know how this works, because myself and other guildmates are experiencing this, and are starting to wonder if our money was spent on a false sense of hope.

It's much more efficient to just buy credits from the fair, you can spend 10 gems instead of flipping a card and pick up around 800k to 900k credits which is a ton of spins. I tried flipping cards then quickly saw it will eat your gems for breakfast. Patience is a virtue!

Each hero is given a percentage chance to be chosen when you flip a card.

Whites common

Blues rare

Purples super rare

Golds Legendary rare

Wow that is really deceiving... so no matter how many cards you flip you still have that say... 0.5% (I really dont know the % just using it as an example) of flipping the card... such as 0.5% chance for card 1 flipped... 0.5% chance for card 2 to flipped... 0.5% for card 3 to flipped...

Is this written anywhere for everyone to see?
