Noble Lady May 29, 2013 edition

Hi!

I must say, my alliance and I are impressed with the server performance of today's Noble Lady quest.
I personally take back my criticisms of the Noble Lady quest as long as the server performance is maintained at this level.
Server performance is very stable, and hardly and lag.

Some thoughts on the current version of Noble Lady:

1. She gives out more coins and credits now.
(Note the 100k coin reward only adds 10k coins)

2. Gem amounts vary from 20 gems upwards.

3. She spawns in more places now


The Noble Lady quest seems more balanced now. No more ridiculous amounts of gems that only a handful find over and over.

If I might suggest, to add other items of value as well (jewels, plans, medals, etc)
Right now, its more of a you get something so-so (coins/creds), or you get something good (gems)
Having a middle ground will keep players interested and the whole activity fun.

Yes I completely agree with Kyleena. And TY TYNON!!!!! I'm assuming this is something that was possibly worked on while the server was down earlier today.

One note to mention though, during the noble lady event sometimes she would say you receive 1 reward such as 100k credits and you would actually receive 10k coins. However, once the event was over it seems the system auto-corrected itself and deducted said coins and gave the credits it was supposed to give.

P.S.- This was my first time getting gems from the Noble Lady, I got 50 of them. No more calling her the Noble Lady of Mass Destruction (TNLMD) for me.

Today's change makes the Noble Lady quest much less stressful on the players as well as the servers.
Imho, it also balances out the rewards the Noble Lady gives.

No more ridiculous 150-200 gem rewards that only several people ever get to have multiple times each day.
20-50 gems seem like a good amount to be the top reward given.

This new setup gives more chances for the overall community to participate in this quest, along with their alliance mates.

Another idea i had was to make those actual events not once a day but twice every 12 hours so every user around the world will be able to participate at least in 1 of them cause else it is only for those lucky ones in that particular timezone.

Just a thought cause that is something other games have problems too and would be a nice idea to have it not inside tynon so that tynon shows it care for all around the globe users.

^ I actually agree with this. The realm bosses and noble lady tend to be out of some players time zones and strongly feel "left out". So some sort of 12 hr timetable or a re-gigging of event times would be appropriate.

Its to bad she says she is giving you gold or Gems an you get nothing. Its hard enough to chase her down HAhabut if she says your getting X number of gems or gold then make that happen please

Last night was the first time I could get the Noble Lady to work for me. I appreciate your efforts in correcting the issues with her and look forward to more opportunities in the future. I also agree that the fixed time is difficult for some players and great for others. I am in a time zone that allows me to be on most of the time however it is at 11 PM for me so that is pushing my limits some. I like the idea of a random selection or an 8 hour rotation idea. maybe something like she appears every 8 hours but only for 1/2 an hour at a time instead of a full hour.

I did not get any gems last night, but I did get a good deal of coins and credits.

on a different note I have not heard back about the 1,000 gems I lost in the early hours of Sunday. I acquired them in the arena, waited the 1/2 hour and collected them. however after refreshing they disappeared. I would like to know what can be done about this. thanks again.
