Stars lost

I Had 12 blue medals and used them on my main character/hero. The first two attempts were successful taking to him to 6 stars, but when I tried two more times I was not successful. Problem is I went back and two stars are now missing on my hero... Just want to have my two stars put back. Thank you. Game Name is Wizzly

No, I understand I lose the medals that's a no brainer Herby. I lost stars not medals... I was level 6 now I'm back down to level 4. I lost stars that I had already acquired and added to my hero. But thanks for the complete lack of help!!

So what you use the blue medals successfully, gain stars then lose them later? And that's how its supposed to be? That makes no sense!! If It was successful why did they disappear? It's a problem that needs to be fixed. You can never fully upgrade your hero if they just fall away next time you play!

I agree. I even fail when it's at 88%. I've given up on that for now. If this is really a bug, I doubt it will be fixed

I did not fail! I had 2 successes and was awarded the 2 stars! Then... they disappeared.

dbgod, i will explain what herby meant very simply:

You can and will lose stars on certain failed attempts. To determine if you will lose a star, hover over the "?" and it will tell you. At some upgrades you wont lose any stars, some lose 1, and some even lose 2. This is not a glitch or bug, it is the game.
