Thread: Dramatic Increase in Quest Boss Power

  1. #21
The reason people have these kinds of problems is because of impatience.
They level their accounts too quickly and lose the opportunity to collect gear sets.

Firelord Ignis (Agni) is the last boss of the first continent.
In a sense, he is the game's first real End-Boss (aside from the sorcerer guy who speaks during quests)
AGNI SHOULD be really that hard to beat.

Agni / Firelord is about as hard to beat as Molten Cerberus in Heroic realms (drops Guardian Chestguard).
If he was anything less difficult, the game would be too easy and everyone would sail over to the second continent without any issues.
The game is designed to be finished in months and years, not weeks.
    Please keep that in mind.

    Advise on Baron Salya-burss:

Lots of magic defense and high damage.
    Talents at level 25-30.
    Guardian Swords.
Level 4 stars for each hero.
At least two tanks with complete HB sets.

He's not that hard to beat once you reach 2m power and have good Guardian gear.

Following with the level bases, Baron Salya is lvl 58. In a sense, this should mean that when you are level 58 you should be around his power and able to defeat him. The way he is now, it is set up to where a non-coiner will have to sit somewhere around lvl 70 and maybe even higher to beat him, I don't see how that works out so well....

I agree with Herby, you can't buy time the game is suppose to help develop your skills over time and not in a speedy fashion. By level 60, I think for non-coiners they'll have at the very least full champion sets (6) for each hero maybe even guardian sets who knows. I do see your point though jupitor, the game seems to be stalled atm. Kind of boring when all we have to do is sail in the carribean lol

I'm not as strong as you yet, but I am on the same boss and I have had plenty of time to do nothing but look around the game and I can see that Tynon has a lot of additions they want to make, just curious as to when they are going to release it all... and fix all the bugs hehe

You know better than this Jupitor. This argument is very flawed.
Just because someone is level 60 means he should be able to beat the level 60 boss?

Level IS NOT the gauge of someone's ability. That is a very basic thing.
There are people with 500k power at level 60, and some at 3.5m power.

Just because you can't beat a boss despite your VIP6 status doesn't mean others can't do it also.
Not everyone plays like you. Maybe you shouldn't have "breezed" through the levels?
Maybe instead of complaining you need to re-evaluate your account and hero setups?

I know of 3* people who have done it, one being VIP7, one being VIP8 and not sure what the other one is. My set up is very hard to beat on any stance. 95% of the community is stuck at some point in the questline, with the majority of the *top players stuck on this boss in particular.

I've evaluated my setup, I've changed my setup, my formation, my runes *Note at this stage I probably have the highest bank of legendary runes on any server totalling at 51 (25 in use, 26 in storage)*, nothing can be done at this stage to defeat this boss. So tell me, if we aren't supposed to be able to beat the boss, why are there level requirements for each quest? You're going to see people stuck in the main questline for months at a time, who won't play anymore. I don't know many people who have the patience to sit there and play pirates, cerb/baal and limited time on other parts of the game when they could be questing and bettering their characters.

The servers would never last years at a time for most people, guaged by other games (albeit games that are very dissimiliar). The need for new challenges will lead people to newer servers to fight different people. It would make more sense to tone things down, so that the questline is attainable in a matter of a couple of months, and then those who wish to stay on the server after all the others leave for new servers, can spend that time battling it out with each other and completeing whatever expansions (and I'm assuming there will be expansions onto the questline) come about.

*Edit* This post isn't necessarily for me, I will eventually blow past this one and be on to the next boss, the entire point of this post was for the players who are non/light spenders who get caught in the questline. My experiences are the easiest way to explain things.

I am less than VIP6 and I have beaten Baron Salya-Burss.

Jupitor, I ask you. how long has it been since the Live servers started?
28 days. Game went live June 12.

And you're complaining about not being able to beat a level 58 boss.
With the game having a maximum of 120 levels.

You know how silly you sound like?

And you're coming on Forums arguing with me over my opinion.

Like I said, this isn't about the fact that I'm stuck as I won't be stuck for much longer, it is a prime example of how MOST players will never see the end of the questline and will eventually leave the game because they get stuck in it for far too long.

    i beg to differ.

MOST PEOPLE WILL BE ABLE TO SEE THE END OF THE STORYLINE.

It's just a matter of time.

    Patience is the key.

    Perhaps Jupitor needs more patience-juice?

Again, my OPINION is that this game will not hold it's player base if players are stuck in an endless loop for months at a time. It's very simple, that's my opinion, there's no arguing it, there's no telling me I need more "patience-juice", my opinion is my opinion and I am allowed to post it on forums.

Now, please leave my thread with your senseless arguing.

As you have the right to post your opinions, so does everyone else.

Don't get mad because my beliefs and observations differ from yours.

I would hardly call anything I post "senseless".
