Unable to bid on Guild Wars - Beta

We just now got to level 3 and are unable to bid on any cities. Can you please help with this? The timer is going down, but the challenge button is not lit up, so unable to bid. We are in Dark realm, and the only challenge button that works is in Fire realm.... when i click it, of course i get the mgs: only H/VH can bid. It's got to be a glitch. Please fix this, or tell me how to. We want to play.

Only hosts and VHs can bid on city's. They use guild funds to bid during the bidding process and the guild with the highest bid wins the right to challenge for the city when guild wars start.
