its because the battle gets stuck and cant move so using it manual mabe it can get past it

There is no manual. The battles are technically decided before they show the nice looking animations showing the battle.
You have a red HP bar and a yellow SKILL bar, Skill attacks are automatic and your heroes skill bar increases every attack that he/she lands on an enemy & every time your hero is attacked. I think later on down the road when Tynon is officially glitch/bug free and we can experience uninterrupted gameplay, that incorporating a manual skill attack is a good idea, but for right now battles freeze faster than an ice age :P

Nice looking animations?? Lmao, you're obviously not having the same issues I am. The animations are all jumbled and freeze up about half the time (more in lab, less in quest) forcing me to not only refresh about 2/3 of the battles in lab, but it makes it nearly impossible to judge how I am doing in the tougher boss battles. If there were some sort of fast forward or skip animation button I would love it so I could skip past the retarded animation I am getting...or at least skip past the finish when the animation stalls out since, as has been pointed out, the outcomes of the battles are already determined prior to the beginning of the animation.
You get 1/3 of your morale bar on each move/or getting hit. Calculate it right and then you can almost control when to shoot a special attack.
