how are rep points awarded in arena battles determined

Several times now I've defeated opponents in the arena who are several ranks above me and who have 50k to 100k more power than me, yet I get 0 reputation awarded for winning. Does anyone have any idea how these points are determined? Is it possibly due to the fact that I've beaten them in the past?

You can only get 100 rep from hitting other players each day. Be it the arena or the wild- hope this helps.

After the kills where you would normally get rep but aren't getting any, you should be getting a message telling you that you have hit your rep cap for the day. Easy to miss but always check for it when you see a 0+rep

Ocura, if you change your chat window to view ALL, it will say something like "You have reached the reputation cap today", in white text. After that, you should just chill.
