    Another closed thread

The Mods here seem to want there to be nothing but sunshine and daisies in your posts, however this is not always the case. There are issues with this game, issues which were directly caused by the devs, and I am not alone in feeling like we, the gaming community, are owed something more than silence regarding when, if ever, these issues will be rectified.

Every post I make serves to show the level of my frustration with trying to open some sort of line of communication regarding fixing these issues. Every post that is closed and/or removed serves to show the level of determination on the part of the Mods to stop that from happening and to keep the gaming community in the dark.

I will be banned sooner or later because I will continue to post until the Mods allow some sort of constructive discussion regarding these issues. The Mods are unwilling to allow that conversation to happen.

If you want to your posts to stay, be constructive and follow the forum rules.

Making posts stating how your thread was closed/deleted and calling out the moderators is against the rules.

I was constructive and followed the rules and had my thread pulled. I would have proof of that except Morgan destroyed it in deleting the thread. The thread has been in existence for over 2 weeks and was resurrected a couple days ago. After it as resurrected it was commented on by members of the Dev Team and yet it was still removed and I am at a loss as to why. I made sure my comments on it were respectful and constructive, much more so than I have now since I was warned and so I took extra care to make sure to no break any rules and I didn't. The only thing I did was mention some criticisms regarding the bugs which were introduced with a recent patch and I asked for some openness regarding the plans on fixing those bugs. For my efforts in trying to have an open and constructive discussion, my thread was pulled which leads me to believe that the reason the thread was pulled has less to do with respect for others and more to do with silencing criticism.

I believe in freedom of speech and was extremely offended when I did everything I needed to in order to maintain the levels of respect in communication Morgan had previously asked for and yet I was still silenced.

I was not involved in that thread, so I cannot speak for what happened there. Regardless of that, you cannot make posts questions the moderators or calling us out, it's against Forum Rules and I am obligated to step in. Next time, if you have a problem with something, handle it in a private message. If you post it publicly, it will be closed/deleted as it breaks the rules.

I can understand your situation however I refuse to handle something privately when it's a public matter and I feel that removing entire threads for no reason which were public and had 2 pages of comments constitutes a public matter and the public should be made aware of what happened.

I realize that was technically against the rules and, as such, I accept the punishment you gave me and am not arguing about it. I do, however, feel it is highly suspect for an organization to outlaw criticism.

I'm not outlawing criticism, the only thing I ask is that it is kept constructive. Again, I cannot say what happened in another situation as I was not there.

If I can't talk about actions that I believe were made unfairly and unjustly because the very act of speaking out is against the rules, how is that not outlawing criticism?

The Forum Rules state that you must listen to the moderators, and blatantly calling them out when you were simply asked not to create another thread on the issue is against those rules.

They do however state that you may make criticism, as long as it is constructive....I think the main point to take away from this is that if you make posts saying hey these are the issues, and not do what I see most people do and flip out and yell and scream...then you have a much better chance to get your point across, you help keep the forums a fun place to come...because that's what this forum is supposed to be, a place for players to come and hang out and talk about the game. It's not the best medium to report a bug, as dave said, there is a support section on the game specifically for that. Just, try to stay on topic, try to be constructive, and keep the forums clean and fun for everyone.

I believe I was trying to do that. I wasn't trying to call any one person out, I was simply trying to ask why my initial post was removed since I took great pains to ensure I wasn't stepping over the lines and since I was given no notification as to why it was removed. It was simply gone so I asked why it was gone. The reason given was unsatisfactory and since it was a public post with 2 pages of public responses, I didn't feel like private messages were the right place for the discussion. I didn't call anyone out until I felt like I was being unceremoniously pushed aside.

In any case, it's over and done and I'd really like to just move on.
