    Servers are NOT full, Tynon.

On server 29 my realm arena has around 2,000 people, and sure that is a lot.

BUT rank 50 doesn't even have 100k power and we are 8 days into the server.

ALSO, 30 people today showed up for Cerberus, don't even try to tell me those other 1,970 were busy.

Please clear the old servers instead of opening new ones. (good to dream, right?)

You have a Cerb or Baal for each realm. On average we get 35-50 players kicking a 250m world boss.

Of course, but my point is that hardly anyone showed up. Out of those near 2,000 in arena, maybe 300 of them are active.

In the first year (May to December 2009 after Civony), Evony officially opened approximately 100 servers. Admittedly it's going slowing down now but it's a good benchmark. Despite what the critics say, that's an achievement.

I understand what you mean. However, server 4 was one of the first servers and therefore one of the busiest. In forest realm (can't speak for the others of course) at the beginning we only had around 20-30 players hitting WBs. Maybe new players are unaware of the benefits or assume its an elite event.

Every part of the game does not appeal to every person. Just because you like to participate in every event and activity, does not mean that others do. Guessing based on perceived activity in specific events is not an accurate measure of the number of players.

We know exactly how many players are playing at any given time on every server. We know how many are online, how many are AFK and how many are offline. We don't guess.

I think the point they are trying to make is that perhaps your definition of "full" isn't leaving enough continuously active players in each server before the decision is made to open a new one.

Regardless of the definition of a full server.

Someone made a good point. In evony if an acct went inactive for I believe 30 days it was put into player limbo.

Could we get something like that maybe, and when a new player creates an acct they are directed to the server with the fewest active accounts in their time zone, instead of the newest

our server is 'full' on water realm there are 10 guilds with a total of 85 people in them - an average of 8.5 people, including the in actives. 2 of the guilds are lvl2, all the others are lvl 1 so guild wars hasn't even started yet. I doubt anyone has used the technologies available in the guilds and there has been no sign of 'heaven palace yet. So if the server is full, i think there must be some pretty serious problems somewhere.

Also just as a the n aside lab has a question in it about the no of realms - they say the correct answer is 4 but we only have 3, fire water and forest. Just so you know

Dawn you are still missing the point. For the first few days a majority of the people in the game are active only they are actively seeking a date or a booty call. They will move on before the week is up but by then you have opened up a new server so you do not see how empty it really is. These same people go to the next server and populate it again and kill the new server and the cycle never stops. The early servers are full but the newer servers are a joke.
