Melding level 4 and above gems

Ok here is one that needs to be fixed. i was trying to remove my level 4 gems from some of my fighters so that i can meld them into level 5 but every time i click on them the buy gems window opens. so are level 5 and above gems that you already have need to be using the gems you buy in order to meld them.? just wondering have to buy gems to get rubies then have to buy more gems to meld the rubies you just paid for. or is this just a bug that needs to be fixed? i have bought gems on 1 server and it does the same so can not be because the other server is a coiner game.

Ya only keep level 3 or below on your heroes, level 4 will cost you 100 gems to remove from your hero which is a little absurd but what can we do. And I think the cost of gems goes up the higher the stone is.

For something that doesn't affect power much, only in very small increments, I'm very disapointed that there is a fee to remove a chip that I own from a gear that I own. The fee itself actually increases with the level of the chip, so if you are lucky enough to craft a level 6 ruby in the coming weeks, you will have to pay more than 100 gems. 100 gems is no joke and I don't take it lightly. I think this fee should be taken completely off and another way to gouge us should be introduced. I don't mind the occasional poke, but the chip removal fee basically slaps you in the face. I have level 5 chips waiting to be embedded, But i'd rather wait to open a new slot (already costly enough) than pay 100 gems to open one I already payed to open. I know that using the word "own" around virtual products is arguable, but I hope this get's re-thought.

I've started crafting extra weapons and armor on junk heros that will later accept the new chips. Just a thought!

I agree, they can really change this future. I understand why it was in place, but not only hurt the player, but tynon too, cause not many will be prepared to pay the gems to remove the stones and will more than likely follow evilside's idea, which seems like a very clever one.

There is already a thread discussing this very issue, and it's pretty clear that the majority of players are against paying 100+ gems to remove level 4+ chips.

Honestly, it just gets in the way of gameplay as your heroes become more powerful. Doesn't affect new players but it's a strict money grab at those players already deeply invested in their accounts.
