I'm a bit confused reading back since my last post. How is everyone seeing this as "fair"? Are you referring to everyone having an equal chance to get the reward, regardless of the time, energy, and knowledge they have put into the game? That, to me, is the opposite of fair.
Also, as VatoLoco said, many people simply camped out and prayed that damage would get low enough for them to hit. These are the players that tried to call me out for "cheating" because I was able to better monitor my damage and knew when I could hit to ensure i got last hit. For one week, out of the 14 events, I took at least 5 of those last hits. I can guarantee you that I was no where near the top ranked player anywhere. I put the extra time and effort in, and I see no problem with being justly rewarded. But what many people fail to distinguish between is the people "camping" and those that have legitmate systems in order to get last hit. Did everyone have an equal chance? No of course they didn't, because if it was a game of wild chance no one would attempt to understand it better then others in order to profit from it.
I can understand wanting to make the chance of getting the last hit more difficult, but I do not believe this way is equitable in any way. Some people will argue that there was no skill or strategy involved in last hit and that it was only about who had the larger stick, although I disagree, I'll go with it for this. People can only be 100% sure of last hit IF they can see the health meter, so you took it away, again I don't agree but I'll go with it. The issue I see is that regardless of your skill level or knowledge now, with the forced restart and imaginary health left, if is a complete lottery, and I hope that isn't what the developers wanted.
