This is crazy. The way banish events were was perfectly fine. It required each player to push to do better and better each day in regards to formation, runes, and heroes. This required skill, knowledge, experimentation, and perseverance. Sure this still applies for people trying to make top 10, but you have now COMPLETELY nerfed any skill/knowledge requirement for last hit. And before people go off saying it was only about who could have the biggest final hit, not true. I am by no means a super-powered player, and yet I would get last hit regularly because I better understood the mechanics. Now you chuck that out the window and say "This change is to give everyone a chance at the killing blow." WHY?! This change penalizes players who are your core base, that have been with you from beta, have helped you all develop your game by exposing flaws, bugs, needed improvements, and glitches. Repayment for this: lets make things even so anyone with absolutely no knowledge of anything game related can get the killing blow. I would love to see the rationale behind this.
This feature is kinda cool, since you can now see the boss you are on and it makes it easier to discuss in GC and get help. I am interested to know if it was intended that clicking on the quest while in Aerie city take you to the portal/map instead of to the actual quest? This seems pointless, IMO. If thats the way it's intended, then its working, otherwise its broken.
Again, where is the rationale for this? Currently I'm rank 6 and i can see the following positions: 8, 5, 4, 2, 1. Why? the way arena was worked fine, and allowed you to move up just fine. There seems to be an ulterior motive here for making people come down in arena rank. TBH this isn't a huge deal, but this change seems silly. Some people in my guild can see a spread of 15 from their highest to lowest bracket position. If people wanted to move before, they could do so very easily. Now if someone ahead of you 3 positions has stakes you want to fight for, you may or may not see them, not to mention if someone in guild tries to save someone else's stakes, its a crap shoot as to whether they will get them in their bracket. Also, in Arena now you cant see everyone who can see you, meaning people can attack me that I can not attack...how is this fair? It's like we are flying quasi blind in Arena too.
I usually don't come on here to comment on changes but the Banish and Arena changes just make no sense whatsoever. I would appreciate a more logical response as to why the company felt these changes were improvements.
