Patch Notes 8/1/13

Hi just want to say the patch changes today were abysmal.

I won't comment on the world boss last hit change, it's already been said and though I can see where devs are coming from, I disagree with it.

The portal world-map change is ridiculous. While it may help with quest, it does not help with going to a certain location as you took out the names. It would be nice if we could get a combination of the two, so that we can see quest progress on the popup, but also the old map if we so choose to close the quest window for better navigation.

The arena change is also bad. Part of the fun in climbing arena from low ranks is that you can collect the stakes along the way (gem stakes are not all, treasure chests amongst other things are very nice as well). Perhaps a better change would be to keep the first 4 like before, and only have the 5th as a jump (Eg. A rank 500 player would see 499, 498, 497, 496, 486). I think this would be a better fix than the current arena fix as it keeps what works, along with the addition of what you guys are trying to do with arena.

Other than this thanks for working on the game.

p.s. While new servers help line your pockets, it's killing activity on the newer servers. Wisdom of Odyssus, S18, is now down to maybe 50 active players..
