Disappearing Maps

I've had issues with my map half disappearing. I go in to the Caribbean to check my half, leave and come back. When I get back the dang thing is gone. I'm positive I haven't gotten in a boat and been attacked. What's up?

what time does this happen? if its around midnight server time then thats why. at that time everything is reset, so you lose your map piece,

not true, mine disappeared between 1400 hrs and 1700hrs server time today. Several people i know have had similar problems. I guess we all have bad browsers or something

This happened today just before I posted to the forum. Maybe 9am?

This happens to me too a lot. Some times I claim after server midnight and the map is gone in the morning. Some times I claim in the morning and the map is gone in the afternoon. In either case I have not boarded a boat at any time and there is no Caribbean attack report in my mail.
