New World Bosses
I was thinking, it would be awesome if there were a few more world bosses to add to the mix. With different fighting styles. Currently, Cerb and Baal are the same sledgehammer with different sprites. We fight them, day in, day out.
What if we pulled some other baddies out of ancient mythology and gave them unique styles?
These bosses would require different formations and tactics - heck, they could even offer some of the unique weapons I hinted at in a different post LINKED
Astarte/Ishtar is from the same pantheon as Baal and one of her facets was that she was a goddess of war. Instead of hitting everyone in your party for 16965%#$@!ermahgerd!!!11!1 millionbillion hitpoints, what if she hit one character, at random, until the whole squad was wiped out? Granted, she would need a lot more HP, to outlast the big beasty players in the realms.
Moloch was an evil turd, also from the Babylonian pantheon. How about he hits everyone at once with a spell that only does like 1000 or 2000 damage, but halves your attack damage every time. When one of your heroes gets low enough to hit for only 1 pt, he smacks all of you off the map.
Leviathan was the "Lord of the Deep". How about a special Pirates location world boss, where we load up boats with as many guild members as we can get, sail out to fight him... drown... reincarnate and repeat. Of course a new battle style would have to be made for this, otherwise it would get boring, quick. Each ship (guild) gets a few hits in before getting a bath. Animation would be of a ship firing once with like 5 cannons... or balistae, or whatever you feel is appropriate... Then Leviathan would smash one part of your ship. Ship fires. Leviathan smashes, and so on. The toughness of your ship would be based on the average power of all those on board. One drop idea for the winners would be a free extra run at the Pirates' treasure.
What do you guys think? Got any related ideas to give to Tynon for free?

Well thought and presented. This sort of activity might bring life back into an otherwise fading game. Even baal and cerb seem to be losing interest and folks like ME are taking top position. Not that I mind, but it seems the big hitters just aren't interested.
Perhaps it has something to do with giving out plans for items we can't even grind for...

very nice idea but that means the time that a player spends on the game will slowly increase with too many events. if we are just talking of Baal and Cerberus then its a very good idea infact. Keeps it at-least non boring.

Hi Wicked. I think you misunderstand the premise. We currently have 2 WB's. One in the AM, and one PM. If we had 10 WB's, we would still only have two per day, just that there would be more variety.
Monday AM, Cerb
Monday PM, Baal
Tuesday AM, Leviathan
Tues PM, Tiamat
Etc... and they could shuffle the order of appearance each week, so it wouldn't always be the same tired boss at the same tired time. This would allow once-a-day players a chance to hit every boss, without sucking more time out of regulars. I hope that clarifies things.

Actually, all I did was look up Babylonian gods. The rest sort of flowed.
As an afterthought, I also considered having these be weaker, have a limited number of combatants, and have them appear at random, IN AERIE, like Guinevere. Smaller battles, smaller rewards, but still large enough to merit hunting for some demon in town. It's just a thought. I still would like to see more than Horny and Hotdog everyday

I am sure it would be encouraging if a mod or dev member responds to these kind of threads rather than just reading them and ignoring them. Come on Devs/ Mods give the OP credits for at-least trying to give u ideas to make the game better and non boring.
