Yes I understand what you are saying ,but this has been an on going thing
If you are lucky and get the star upgrade , and 1 to 3 days later you try another star upgrade with a 88% chance of success ,the stars you already had together with the new stars will be gone ,spend gems to buy more stars to try again another day and your stars will also be gone together with what you already had
Spend you money to buy gems ,which you use to buy stars and those stars will also be gone together with what you already had.
The game is just about taking your money ,then taking away what you paid for,and that's a 90% chance sure thing

I agree the system sucks

Its pretty much the same system we had on evony, yet plenty of us got 15 star sets eventually. Granted we could get the gems needed to do that for free, and you pay for the medals here. But it can be done

People get upset because they fail something at 90%, so a logical expectation is the next time it will succeed. But that is not the case because the success/failure of the next time does not take into account any previous attempts. SO it does not seem like the percentages are correct. It was the same way on evony.
Do not expect them to change it.

It's actually completely illogical to expect a 90% chance to succeed on the second try. Yes, you have 9/10 chances to succeed, but you can easily fail 10 times in a row with a 90% chance of success. The odds of that happening are of course slim, but it's certainly possible. The only logical way to think about it is that it will only get harder the more stars you have as the percentage chance to succeed declines.

I don't think you read correctly. The fact is after I clicked it showed 7 stars. The success rate dropped and a star was added, but when I closed and reopened I had 4. I already know what I lose if I fail, but it showed that I did in fact succeed.

Had this just happen with Saffron last night. Was at three stars, I saw her go advance to 4 stars! I was thrilled because I have had Saffron go from 0, to 1 to 2 to 3 to 2 to 3 to 2 to 1 to 2 to 3 then I thought she finally went to 4. Eventually refreshed my browser and she was down to 2 .... and I was incredibly POed. And right now she is back down to 1 and I am ..... somewhat irate.
