I do complex algorithms to calculate formulas and generate fractals. Formulas that I sell to games devs at times for things like the sparkly water and waves in the harbor. Because the game devs I sell to can't do that much higher math. But I FAIL at basic algebra. XD
But it does sat "stackable to", so I must assume that each boost is based on power at boost time, and does not go up in a straight line off of your original power. Never bothered to write the numbers down as I boost away. And though people may be right that the percentages are off on the whole game, I still stand by my opinion that the percentages shown for star up probabilities are not based on cumulative tries, but apply to each and every try individually. Maybe changing when you try to up stars? I have been getting consistent ups now on stars right after reset, and by upping each hero in a row so stars are about the same for each one, 'cept my mage and my main, who are 2 stars higher than the rest.
Dude, I feel bad for ya that you have had such crappy luck, but it's a game of chance to some degree, and sometimes you hit a good streak, sometimes you hit a bad one. If it's such a big deal to you and is making your real life (do you have one?) so miserable, quit playing and go back to Farmville.
*smh*
