Disconnecting differ from server to server??

I do get disconnected not often but i do. 1 of my accounts is on server 4 n i get disconnected 1 or maybe 2 times a day. But i have another account on server 50 and im getting disconnected 1 or 2times an hour. Is this because im on a US server (me being from europe) or does it just differ from server to server ? Any feedback would be great. If this is an issue that could be fixed im willing to go to vip3 on my US server account. But no point if i get disconnected as then the autocollect feature will not work.
