I have a quad core i7 with 12Gbytes of memory running my spare Graphics co-processor doing cryptography hashing functions at Ghz rates simultaneous with 8 logical core processors running exhaustive Mersenne prime number searches (millions of digits long) in back ground. This app is idling on by PC. Yet there are times when the Tynon servers just puke and I get the notorious "fail to sync" message on all active servers I am running at the same time. Some of it is related to the FLASH app - it crashes sometimes. But Flash is not crashing as often now. The Server itself gets VERY CHOPPY during events like Noble Lady (8PM) as everyone tries to navigate to her new spawn point to collect credits.
Sometimes refreshing will clear the choppiness up and other times you just got to wait for it to crash and drop some connections to shed the load. You can see the actual frame rate go from about 5-10 per second down to 1-2.
It's disconcerting to see that Chrome seems to have the issues it does.
I also think that when Tynon wants to push a new update to the clients they force a break in the session so you have to reload the client code and this may be part of the disconnects and forced resets as they fix client side bugs semi-transparently,
