hey all

is there a 100% sure answer on this...........if you buy a hero from the fair, do you GET the guy? if i ask 100 people, 50 say yes, and 50 say no, would hate to spend 250-1000 gems and NOT get it. same for the labyrinth, i save up 100 to buy one and was told you only get a card to make it a saint, i spent the 100 on other things now, would have been pissed to waste 100 and not gotten it

You DO NOT get the hero for your lineup from the fair. The fair cards can only be used for Sanctifying. They cannot be used to recruit heroes you don't have. The only time you can recruit a hero you do not have is from the Tavern or by using spirit tokens, in which case you will see the RECRUIT button under the hero card for the ones you don't have.

not technically true anymore. if you "use" the saint cards, and you don't have the hero, it will recruit the hero.. I guess it was newly implemented.

That's technically true, you do not automatically get the hero when you buy a card from the fair.

However, you get the card from the fair in your inventory, and if you "Use" the card it will recruit the hero if you do not already have him recruited. As long as you have the hero unlocked by your reputation rank (if you don't, can you see the card in the fair anyway?), you will get the hero for your team by buying it in the fair.

Cards can be used to sanctify heroes or to recruit heroes you do not already have.

Edit: Just so there is no confusion, I am saying, from experience, that Hellion is completely wrong. Go ahead and buy the cards.
