Its not incredibly bad luck. Its by design. I've seen this so many times its not even uncommon. I have Phsy attack on Shayd. Not by bad luck by design. I've got Magic attack on Saffron. Yep by design. Failed 4 times in a row trying to sanctify for Calvin at 70%. That's not bad luck. That's by design. They want me to drop some cash to buy more credits so I can try again.

It's not by design. Below was sent to me on August 7th:

We will release a new patch to fix this issue. All the useless attributes of a saint will be randomly reset to new usable attributes after the patch. Please keep an eye on our patch notes.

Yep I've seen that also. I think we have had 4 or 5 new servers since I saw that so I'm not holding my breath.

Spinning up a new server has nothing to do with developing, testing, and releasing entirely new code to every single server without bringing all of them down due to some kind of horrible defect.

I'm not defending the developers as far as current sanctification goes, just pointing out that software development takes longer than spinning up a new virtual or physical server with verified game code.

All though I do appreciate your explanation, being a software developer for hospital LIS, HIS and admission programs I think I grasp the concept. Dealing with these bugs and waiting on them to get fixed while getting a mail that a new server will be added with the same bugs does not help the situation. Yes the magic attack on heroes with Phsy attack and vice versa was by design. Its been discussed here before and explained as bad luck. Bad luck in a computer program is by design. The community didn't like it so they will be making a change in the near future. Probably when we reach server 100.

Lol! So I should expect any useable buffs I have on my physical heroes to change to all magic attacks, and my mage to get all physical buffs? Cianna...Saint III, one physical buff (and a tiny one), and 2 HUGE magic attack buffs. SIGH. Won't bother sanctifying her again, since I am positive she'll get more magic attack. But at least in her off time, she can enjoy playing with her "Be A Magician 101" and "Intermediate Magician's Play Set" presents. Maybe if she gets it down she can start making coin appear out of nowhere...LOL!
