I used over 200 gems on stars because the wording stated we would be refunded. I know others who spent more.
I had no extra slots for stars beyond purchased amount. I had to drop stuff to buy the 21 stars I bought.
We cannot buy gems in beta, so the false advertising caused many to lose irreplaceable gems!

I spent 340 Gems due to the miss wording of the email. I WOULD have purchased NO Stars had I known I was just going to get 34 stars on Saturday !!!! I am Glad dawn the u will correct the message for live but it really screwed up us on beta that sepnt very hard to come by gems with the hope we would get those rare gems back the nect day. Take the 34 sytars u gave me and give back the much needed 340 hems I lost due to this totally miss worded email. We have no way to purchase any more gems and they are really hard to come buy for weapon slot upgrades, ETC. Heck I would not mind a server roll back to get the gems back. This is totally wrong and should be fixed. I would have not spent 1 gem if I had known this was the case let alone the 340 gems I spent.
lol. Yea the miswording got alot of peoples hopes up but it's still a change for the better at any rate. Just wondering now when the patch will hit.Not that I told you so. But be very careful with promos that seem too good to be true
Dawn, should this read "Any medals that failed on Friday" or do you all literally mean to give the purchased medals out twice, on Friday and Saturday?

They did this on purpose, but knowing tynon I made sure I only spent 40 gems. Not too long after that I saw under the option to buy that only the medals would be refunded and not the gems.

I bought 21 medal. I sold stuff I didn't want to sell to make room.
Then I waited for the gems to return. So guess what. I not get my gems returned as it stated.
I did not get added stars the next day as most may have, after all....I did not have room in my inventory for them. I was supposed to get the gems back so I only sold what I had to for the new ones I bought.
Silly me, I did not immediately use the new stars to make room for the GEMS that were supposedly going to return. So the bonus stars never arrived either.
I use to add my 2-3 gem stars as needed from Fair. Spent over 200 gems on Stars that not return the gems and not add Stars...Talk about getting royally screwed!
I would have utilized the 200+ gems in needed areas, but since it stated we would get them back..I took a chance and wasted sooooooooooo many irreplaceable gems!
The Dialogue in the Weekly Events icon window needs to be corrected to show "Star medals used on Fridays will be refunded on Saturday" rather than "Gem cost of star medals purchased on Friday will be refunded on Friday" as the later is clearly not the case. The gem cost is not refunded.
People call Medals *Stars* way too often. I understand what your saying, but if you send in a ticket like ^ that... You may not get the help you want.
