After quite a bit of time of playing the game,and using all different heroes and combinations i notice a little bit of displeasure using mages. i understand why their accuracy must be lowered to a extent because of the light ammount of people having magic defense,and shayds ability to stun and smoulders AOE. but they are also at a higher disadvantage. the spirits do give them the (6) set bonus for offensive damage. but the embed slot itself has no effect for them at all giving morale heroes the advantage,their accuracy is pretty low so they miss like half the time. they cant critical so their offensive isnt as high. they cant block yet can be blocked is another disadvantage. but if it could be possible to make a rune that is magic attack+accuracy (not hit rating) for 60+lvl req it would bring more joy to being able to use shayd and making smoulder worth using. but ALSO make it so shayds stun chance doesnt increase with the rise of accuracy. i feel it would be somewhat equal as none of the lvl 60+ req runes actually fully benefit mages like they do the physical/morale heroes.
