[Beta] 16 August – Beta Patch Notes & New Events!

Here are the latest Improvements and New Features to Tynon:

New Features:

• New Daily Events every day of the week. Read more here
• You can now use your Guild Contributions to purchase a Silver Chest or Golden Chest.

Improvements:

Sanctify

• Heroes will no longer receive a sanctify bonus which offers no benefit to them (example +magic damage on a morale-based hero).
• Heroes which already have a bonus like this will have those bonuses replaced with a new random bonus.

Tavern

• Players will now always get Spirits when the Tavern refreshes. The refresh cost has also been increased. This will be an overall increase in Spirit gain and help players more reliably acquire new heroes.

Banish Events

• When receiving plans rewards from Banish Baal/Cerberus events players will now get plans of an appropriate level for themselves.

Cretan Labyrinth

• Higher level Gem Chips are now available as prizes.
• Labyrinth Tokens can now be sold for 1 million coins each.

Arena

• The chance of Hero cards spawning in the Arena has been doubled.

Caribbean Pirates

• Players can now get half of their voyage rewards immediately after they start sailing. When their boat is sunk they will lose the other half of their rewards.

PvP

• Players now have 10 chances of Revenge or Wild PvP attacks everyday.

Rewards Package

• A level 70 Rewards Package has been added to the game. There is no cost to this package other than obtaining level 70 in the game.

As for the increase in Hero Cards in the Arena today was the first time I ever got one from the Arena, I was offline when it happened. Talk about instant gratification!

My question would be do the people already above level 70 still get the package and why is this suppose to hit live?

Other than that looks like a lot of improvements, slap this patch on!

Gem costs of all medals purchased on Friday will be refunded the next day on Saturday.

That can't be accurate, otherwise people would just buy like 100 medals Friday.

I don't think that is something that is going to be rolled out to the live servers. For the most part on the Beta server not many people are going to see a major benefit from this since you cannot purchase gems on the beta server since the game went live. The people who will benefit are going to be the ones who win the 1k gems in the Arena or those who were frugal with the gems they bought before the game went live.

Also, try logging into Beta and see if you can claim the level 70 chest, I'm not near there yet so it doesn't apply to me still.

my beta character is not very high, just prep for live server. I really hope pretty much everything else transfers over. Don't get me wrong i'd love to load up on medals and be refunded but that seems like that could be majorly exploited on a live server. Rest of the daily events look good.

They'll probably adjust some of the stuff like they did with "Hunger Games" i.e. "Ragnarok"

Has anyone been informed or red about when the live patch will happen?

I so so so hope this is brought to live. It would save the game from the frustration of negatives it's had lately. Would be a very positive and fun thing. Stars bought, returned to reuse is great because the fail rate still exists. I think its fair, but on beta where you can't buy new gems, its not going to have the effect it would on live. The other things look great too, and all in all bring more fun to the game.

Maybe the level 5 city buff that is missing is 3 chances at the silver/golden chest without using donations?

That would be too OP

You get 1 chance per guild level. so 5 chances for guild level 5.

For people who do grand donations, 5 chances are not enough, far from it. 8 chances would be more suited for them
