    Stun Rate

    I have been trying to defeat Baron Fuego in Heroic Realms now for a week. Every day I get closer to victory. However I have noticed some things and am wondering about stun rates.

    It appears to me, and this may just be the randomness of teh game, but it may not be, that Baron Fuego Elite as well as many of the higher level HR Bosses and Quest Bosses, do not get stunned as easily as other enemies.

    I know shayd has a 1 in 3 Hit. But I thought both Shayd and Cianna both had a 50% chance to stun when their attack lands.
    On Baron Fuego Elite, I am seeing a much lower then 50% chance of stun from Cianna's Ambush and from Shayd.

    I have literally seen Shayd hit the Baron 5 times in a row successfully and see damage deducted, but she does not stun.
    I have also witnessed Cianna land 3 Ambushes on the Baron in one battle and none of them stun.

    He can be stunned, as I have stunned him many times with both Shayd and Cianna.

    So that leaves me wondering the following:
    1. Is the chance for stun with Cianna and Shayd really 50%?
    2. If the chance to stun with Shayd and Cianna is really 50%, is what I am seeing just bad luck?
    3. If the chance to stun with Shayd and Cianna is really 50%, are the higher level bosses tweaked in such a way to make them harder to stun?
    4. If the higher level bosses are tweaked to make stunning harder, is there anything we can do to tweak Shayd and Cianna to counter act the reduced chance to stun a higher level boss?
    5. If the higher level bosses are tweaked to make stunning harder, is there anything we can do to tweak our own heroes (ie runes or talents or gear) to reduce the chance of another player stunning us, besides trying to dodge or block the attacks?

    Now I am sure no dev is going to respond since answering these questions would take away from the "Mystery" of the game and they want us to figure this stuff out for ourselves.

    SO I am asking for input from players with ACTUAL EXPERIENCE in this matter.

    the stronger they are the less likely they are to be stunned,I am just a little bit ahead of you in HR atm. soon as i hit envoy not only did i stop stunning,but they start blocking your mage like crazy. i made a thread about a divine rune just for mages to give them a extra kick. as none of the other divine runes actually benefits mages at all.

    That's a pretty vague statement; "stronger" has to be measured by some in-game value, which would imply that some numeric statistic increases resistance to stun. Other effects (hit, dodge, crit) have different values factored in from both attacker and defender. What does it for stun, if anything? Level, perhaps? Or maybe it's nothing at all and the 50% stun rate manifests itself as streaks of good and bad luck over time.

    It's either a hidden statistic, a factor of "level" difference, or some kind of factor we're not aware of (like a combination of statistics). That or as you say, bad luck.

    I have noticed as well, however, that my stun rate is very much affected the higher I go in both questing and the Heroic Realm.

    It seems as I get farther along in HR, the stun rates drastically drop on both Cianna and Shayd, almost exactly as you described. I try to not rely on stuns to proceed through HR. It slows pace a bit, but that doesn't matter at the moment anyway, as the Bosses that give IH gear are extremely hard to beat.

    Stun rate and miss rate is the same.

    Use level 10 Preciseness and level 10 Infallibility for best effects.

    Herby that has nothing to do with what I am talking about.

    I think it is clear that as you progress in HR and quests the bosses do have something built into them that reduces stun rate.

    Now the question is
    Is this something that is only inherit to NPC characters
    or is what makes them harder to stun some thing that can be countered and be applied to our own heroes to reduce stun rate

    yes some bosses cant be dodged some cant be blocked so on and so on......the bosses do have little tweaks not offered to us players.

    Little Tweaks lol tell you what give me some of those dam Dwarf Marksmen that come with some of the bosses then ill show you a team to fight with lol
