how to make a saint

how do i make a saint out of my purple hero's. im lost.

You have to get their cards at the tavern or fair, and then go to Heroes and click sanctify. You can sanctify the hero you have the card for, purple or gold only. The success rate for the first sainting is (supposedly) 100%, but the buff the hero gets is up for grabs random. You may get lucky and get a great buff, you may get screwed and get a useless one.

You can also get heroes cards from guilds treasure chest.

I notice lots of other people my level or lower have way more saints. How, other than getting a card in the treasure box, for level 60 or 70, or buying it from the labyrinth can you get your people sanctified? If you've already got the hero, you can't get a second card for them in Heaven's Tavern to sanctify with, can you?
