It is not about swords or staffs. The probability of items dropping is the same as how items in heroic bosses drop.
Baron Metus will probably not drop a Guardian Relic the first time you beat him. It would need several kills before he drops one.

A single heroic boss does not drop only the same item over and over. They drop a RANGE of items starting from sword and staffs until the most advanced for them.
This is the same way the new world boss drop of plans works.

If you don't like how the new world boss rewards are, then don't participate in it.
Let others who have probably never gotten any plan from world boss get your spot in the top 3.
Im sure they will appreciate it a lot more than you do.

Nope not gonnahappen. I slept through cerebus today, someone else got in top 3 guess what they got a useless sword plan as well. SO your logic is faulty. Its the sword/staff plan drop form cerebus/baal that needs changed

PLEASE DO. The basis of my compalint is All I saw yesterday on server 1 was Sword drops. Now if it actually starts dropping chest,helm relics and cloaks - GREAT THATS WHAT I WANT. BUT I REALLY WANT THEM TO REMOVE SWORD/STAFF PLANS PERIOD FROM BAAL/CEREBUS - its never really going to be a reward for anyone.

Oh and as far as if i dont like it dont participate - I call bs. EVERYONE ELSE COMPLAINS in the forums about stuff they don't like and tynon makes changes, so why shouldn't I complain loud and long about something i don't like in hopes of it getting changed
