New boss drops are fail...

I suppose that part of the problem is that we had the old system and a lot of us accumulated a lot of plans that we could not use. In my case, not counting Spirits I have the following:

• All the equipment is at least Guardian.
• I only need 3 sword plans to have either all the Ironhart equipment or plans to craft them with.
• I have all the Lightbringer plans I need except that I have no relic plans.

In HR I have beaten Baron Fuego (gives all the Guardian plans) and my next one to beat is The Envoy (gives Ironhart Sword and Staff plans)
On quests I am up to level 67 that gives the Silver Pot needed for Ironhart Spirit. That means that when I beat Venomius I will be able to get some martial for Lightbringer Swords and Staffs.
I am level 75.

Under the current system I am getting Guardian plans.
Under the old system I was getting Lightbringer plans.
If it is based on where I am on the Quest path I would be getting Ironhart plans.

In my case if it was based on the Quest path I would have a chance of getting the 3 Sword plans that I still need and that would help me beat The Envoy in HE and Vemomius in the Quest.

At a risk of being guilty of repeating myself I will say that in my opinion the WB drops are supposed to be things that would be useful to you that you would not be able to get otherwise. There are the Grand Prize. If what I get is something that I can already get by beating a Boss in HR that I have already beaten, then the prize is not Grand at all.

As I was writing this I came up with another option that is a compromise between the current HR and my proposed Quest Path methods. Have the drops in WB be for the plans that you could get from the next Boss that you have to beat in WB (The Envoy in my case). That way the drops will be something that I can not currently get in HR (Ironhart Sword and Staff plans) so it will truly be a 'Grand Prize'.
