    In our guild two members who have never gotten top 3 ranked 1 and 3 today and got plans that they will craft today.
    They were very happy about it since it lessens the time they need to wait hitting Heroic Bosses for the plans they need.



    If you find world boss events useless don't participate in it. Give your top 3 spot to someone who has never gotten it before.
    Then the drops on your server are totally different then on my server. Havent found a person yet on server 1 who got anything but sword/staff plans

    ANd NO i will not GIVE away my top 3 spot. If someone can take it from me let them take it from me. The same as I took my spot from other players. I like the rep and credits I get. I earn those daily. Like I keep aying the plans are suppose to be a reward and a sword plan is never a reward, its an insult

    There lies the crux of your problem. It is my belief that Tynon wants to do away with this type of mentality and attitude.

Since the same people winning the same old useless sword drops just keep banging away and bogarting the top 3 positions, selling the surplus sword plans for a few coins (even less than the cost of the apprentice gear!) and just collect reputation and merge-gems and NEVER EVER let their own people advance around them who might actually need a sword plan or two.

    THIS IS THE END Of this GAME. People are seeing now that its a dead ended game design that does not balance, does not reward and looks more like a failed liberal social justice ideology than it looks like cogent and rational game design with a well thought out advancement strategy. MOST are quitting it out of boredom now. EPIC FAIL.

    Mi point exactly. It should be based on how far along the path you are and what materials you can farm and not what HR bosses you have defeated. HR bosses do not give you materials, only plans. If I can get the plans from them what is the point on also getting them from WB?

    Everyone should be able to have exactly the same gear and power level regardless of the amount of time, effort, skill, and real money they put into it. Any system that rewards players for doing well? Get rid of them all, because it's not fair. No heroes unlocked for any but the most basic reputation ranks? Don't bother filling them in, it would be unfair to everyone else. Some players have beaten stronger heroic bosses than others and gotten better gear, so we better stop that unfairness from happening. Stronger players get plans they can actually use, and can't get anywhere else, from world bosses? Can't have that! Better make them get useless stuff until everyone catches up. Fairness above all!

    If they are using heroic bosses as a guide line to Cerb and Baal then its a fail, but if they are using the quest level as a guide line ,then ya I can agree with that as I have gotten gear I could not get materials for from Cerb and Baal and had to wait till I opened the quest areas to farm supplies . if you are able to farm the materials then that is what you should be getting as a drop from world bosses and I hope this is the case since no one has really said its the Quest level or Heroic boss level here yet unless i missed it somewhere.

    It would make tremendously more sense to go off both what the player can farm for, as well as what upgrade(s) they desperately need. If a player has 4 Champ Swords and 1 Champ Staff, they don't need another of either most likely, but they might need a Champion Cloak. Still make it chance-based of course, but skew the chances in favor of actually getting a usable upgrade instead of trash.

    Heroic bosses don't really fall in line with what a player can actually craft, so again, it doesn't make sense for World Bosses to drop something you can't really craft and/or don't need.

    The plan level is based of HR, NOt sure if the actual item is but it seems to be.

    The only adjustment I suggest is this.

    If the HR boss you last beat drops relics then rewards should be for

    1st relics or cloaks
    2nd cloaks or chestguard
    3rd chestguard or helm

    Still chance based a bit. But allows players to have some control over what they get and dont get. Giving someone who has beat the relic boss a SWORD is just ridiculous, of course tehy dont need a sword
    they have gotten 20 trying to get the 5 relics.

    If you have beaten the second envoy then your drops should be
    1st Iron sword/staff or guard relic
    2d guard relic or cloak
    3rd guard cloak or chest guard

    This way the items that are REWARDED need to be adjusted. I have seen first place players get swords/staves while second and 3rd place players get cloaks.

    The old way 1st place got an item less likely to drop then 2nd and 3rd
    now that is no longer true.

    Granted this can not always work because 1st may not be further ahead of 2nd in HR

    But given the 1st 2nd and 3rd place players are all on the same boss - 1st place should get an item that is less likely to drop then 2nd and 3rd.

    Today I placed second and was awarded a helm and I am one boss ahead of 3rd and he got a chestguard. His item is less likely to drop for him then my item is considering I can beat the relic boss.

    SO there needs to be some better reward for 2nd versus 3rd 1st place should get an item less likely to drop for them versus the item 2nd place gets, And 2nd place should get an item that is less likely to drop for them versus the item drop rate of the 3rd place person
