On 45/water we have a player who is doing his best to disrupt the game for everyone.

He/she claims to be "just vip3" and has been kicked out of every guild except the one he is in currently.
I suspect he paid the guild leader to step down and make him host.
He was booted from the previous guilds for stealing stakes from guild mates.
He is closing in on 5 mil power which for that server is close to the top.
He sinks whoever he can and made alts to takes the maps he steals so he can continue sinking.
He would threaten players and their guilds to force them to steal maps so he could keep sinking more ships.
He has been on all 3 realms and just moved onto water because nobody on the realm had anywhere close to his power.
He is in the number 1 slot in the arena and takes the stakes from 6th-2nd slots. I suspect he has a bot working because
the stakes disappear pretty much all day every day.
He says that he is on our realm to save us from the more powerful guilds on the other realms.
He doesn't see his actions as bullying. He believes we want his help. He believes we want our stakes taken.
He says he's here to help us.
He says he knows what is best for us. And that he IS what's best for us.

The rest of us just want him to go away.
Some people have left the server. Others are ready to.

As for ignoring them, how do you do that? We aren't talking chat block here.
He IS destroying the realm and the server. How do you ignore that?

I'm just going to note this here: A "confession" means absolutely nothing, and no game company would ever action a player based solely on chat, unless the chat itself was the violation (e.g. they have a rule against profanity and profanity was used).

Why is this? Because its impossible to get the full context and we can't know if the player is joking or being sarcastic. Chat logs may indeed prompt us to launch our own investigation, but the investigation will determine if the player is violating the game rules, not the chat logs/screenshot.

Furthermore, we will not share the results of our investigation or the measures taken against a player with anyone else. This is to protect the player's privacy (its not a law, just our policy). Even if you're the one who reported a violation, its not your business what happens to a player as a result of that violation. That is between the player and us. The only exception is if the player breaches the privacy wall by lying about his/her actions in the public forum in an attempt to deflect blame or slander the game. In that case, the player has breached privacy and we may set the record straight, if we feel its necessary. This is a very rare case.

Getting back to the point of this thread, people are allowed to spend money on the game. That is in fact, how this game is able to exist. The game is free to play forever, but some people have to buy stuff or we can't afford to continue paying for staff and servers and power and mega internet connections. If we cracked down on everyone who sank someone's boat or took the #1 spot in arena, then we would quickly put ourselves out of business and then no one could play.

We do and have cracked down on exploiters, regardless of the amount they've spent. Buying Gems does not give anyone a free pass for violating the TOS.

So I'm closing this thread. You may not like someone, but this has gone on longer than I should have allowed it. If you have evidence or reason to believe he's actually exploiting, then please use the billing support system to report him. Forum staff will not get involved in things like this.

Usually people who do this type of "disruptions" tend to talk a lot, in world chat or realm chat, trying to draw attention to themselves.

Is this player acting as such?
