    Problem with Ciana

    She fires and there is no animation and the game seems to pause as it tries to figure out what happened.
    Ambush fires fine. Full animation and damage count. But once in a while for a normal shot nothing happens.
    I've seen this on different realms and on different computers.

    Has anyone else seen this?

    Yep happens to me too. Sometimes you kill a hero and it remains but is out of battle so you are not sure if it is dead or not.

    I see it's been reported in bugs.
    I went there to post as well.
    half my server that uses her are seeing that her 3rd attack does not hit, just busted animation and adds 5 seconds to round for no hit, but mods don't see it yet, please comment on bug post I made, hopefully something will be done, removing her from line up and she is my best hero....

    They know its a problem they are working on it. But its only a graphics thing the mechanics are working fine and the battle results are not affected. I have watched well over 3k cianna attacks since the patch went on. And can tell she is doing damage and morale is being added for her attack

    You don't have to take her out of your formation. The damage is still done but her animation is just messed up. What it really affects is being able to observe the battle accurately and plan for the next encounter. It doesn't actually hurt anything from what I can tell, however. It's annoying, yes, but not game-breaking.

    Her morale goes up and it looks like she shoots but no damage is often dealt when the animation freezes. You don't need to watch 3k times just fight 10 times in arena. I know how hard my characters hit these players and when it freezes up opponent hp bar often doesn't move. Not everytime, but it is enough for me to move out of line up.

    You won't see the opponent's health bar move but the damage was done all the same. The animations are messed up but the battle formula is still working fine. You can keep Cianna in your formation, unless you think not seeing the damage dealt is too unnerving.

    Anyone that thinks the "fight" that plays out in the animated portion of the combat means anything are silly. Even graphical glitches like this do nothing to the results. The entire outcome of the fight was rolled and calculated the moment you engaged in the attack, before the combat sequence even loads. Everything after that is pointless presentation to let you watch whatever result was rolled. So glitches like this one, don't affect anything.

    Brings up another interesting thing we could use - OPTION TO TURN OFF ANIMATION AND CUT TO THE CHASE.

    When there is a glitch in battle area you have no idea if there is a glitch in forumla area. When I should have hit and killed a hero with cianna but no hp is taken off and that character hits my character then I would say there is something wrong. There is no way to prove the fights are calculated with her are accurate correct? You don't work for tynon nor are you given any kind of a report that shows that she in-fact did hit everytime without fail when it was calculated right? Didn't think so, you may close this thread as the developers know it is an issue and are working on it, thanks!
