CORRECT - the game FALSELY gives you the IMPRESSION that the chances are 1 in 5 but its a total ILLUSION (once a card DOES turn up - which is about a 1:6 or so chance per refresh - so total APPARENT probability is about 3% per refresh/shuffle).

BUT the REAL PROBABILITY IS MUCH LOWER - the chances are fractions of a percent you will pick a card after a shuffle once you have it in your shuffle deck.

It does NOT matter in the least which card you pick. I always pick from the center. If it is YOUR turn to win then it will show up there. If it's not your turn to win the programmers have designed the card animation to emulate that it moved around strictly for visual effects. They don't even randomize where the make that card(s) appear - its ALWAYS one to the left or right and if you select two cards using gems on two adjacent cards it will always then move to the other place UNLESS its your time to win. The original OP is DEAD ON CORRECT - its is PRE-SHUFFLED (essentially) with a string of random cards elaborated when you enter the HT and press refresh. The server logic will give you random sequence of cards based on a random number generator (just a digital white noise generator essentially). Tynon has either fixed probabilities for the purple and yellow cards or they modify it with marketing teasers to give you multiple cards which give extra spirits but also entice VIP players to take the extra turn with gems. When I say "your turn to win" I mean that you are in a certain location in the random number sequence that's pre-rolled for you server-side. It does not matter when they reset the sequence (either on a session bases or site wide at reset hr) but everyone just gets a random set of cards based on a probability schedule. Each time to get a colored card it is in the set based on a spirit probability (much much lower than 1 in 5 when it does show up) that is separate from the pick probability. There's clearly two probability curves at play here - spirit economy and raw-luck economy. But there is DEFINITELY a marketing hook in it too designed to lure gems for extra turns.

You could put the whole HT on an auto mouse clicker to always hit the same refresh/shuffle/pick-middle-card and it won't matter if you put a man in the loop to pick any other card in the set.
I get 4-5x more cards by REDEEMING spirits as I do getting random selects and when I do get a lucky pick its usually a purple and very rarely a yellow). The more rank you have the higher the odds of acquiring spirits (more colored cards in the deck) but the cost goes up per shuffle. So its pretty easy to get cards by acquisition of spirits and to fund it with Noble Lady credit play.

I am sure UCool will take legal advice from someone that cannot spell or compose a proper sentence.

And RiverBummer is completely correct in how the system works, as best as the player base can tell without actual access to the code.
